Back when they were bandying about going POC for Bond, Idris Elba's name came up a lot. I could see that. Dude has the gravitas to play 007, and although it still would have been more wokeshit I would have been willing to give it a watch.

Many insiders theorize that this would be the break-even point, which makes sense considering all the product placement you need to get a movie with this kind of scale and this kind of funding off the ground. Bezos ain't fronting over half a billion for a movie, and neither is any other typical film investor.
If the WuFlu Farce did anything, it was force a ton of studios to tone down or outright gut their woke fetishists. If the movie industry survives this plandemic, it will be a very, very different industry.
Why can't they just make new characters and new stories instead of recycling old ones and race or gender swapping them. ? they want to say "let the past die"? well this would be one of the times it would be nice to stop having all these different gender or race swapped spiderman, superman, batman, james bond, thor, etc. etc. or do they not have any talent or creativity to come up with anything new? of course not cause when they do its garbage which is why they try to hijack established popular things all the time cause they can't make anything good on their own.
They tell the greedy suits that it's all about cashing in on pre-existing fanbases while expanding the brand to new and more diverse markets, but that's obviously not what's happening. You never see them taking this same approach with female or black characters or series. No, the real impetus behind these race and gender swaps is a pure burning hatred of white men. These parasitic "creators" are getting off on the destruction of iconic white and male properties. It doesn't matter if the woke reboot loses hundreds of millions of dollars because making money wasn't the goal.

For example, I don't care about "Fast and Furious" and it's not because the main characters are guys, it's just that they don't appeal to me, the cast could be all-female and I still wouldn't be a fan because I like a different kind of films, and that's fine, nothing appeals to absolutely everyone.
