I wouldn't be surprised if there's rioting in London, Paris, Berlin, etc. For whatever reason, Europeans seem to think they get a say in American politics.
Ammo here is gone, gone. I hit up Academy yesterday and snagged a few extra boxes of full nato for the FAL, but it's to the point where even the expensive 12 gauge birdshot is nearly empty. Even the local shops were bare.
I don't think we'll see riots here, but there are emotionally stunted rich kids around that may very well try shit like burn down houses with trump signs out front. But the biggest threat is from criminal gangs taking advantage of the chaos. County Police stopped and warned us that several cars had been broken into in the neighborhood (and surrounding ones as well) and things like garage door openers stolen about 2 weeks ago. Similar things happened in the days/week leading up to the Darrin Wilson grand jury announcement and we did see a rash of mostly property crime during those riots.
I've got some food but no massive stockpile. I guess I'm expecting the total crazy to stay elsewhere and around here be not a ton more than the Floyd riots. Or if they decide to push to the suburbs it will be "let's go get the rich pipo" and not here. Maybe my short-shortsightedness will be my downfall, who knows.
So, I suppose if they go come here and try to starve me out I'll do my best to GTFO because if it's gotten to that point that's the best option. I think they'd have to be really, really stupid to come to this area though. They start burning houses down around here there will be a bloodbath.
Honestly, beans are one thing, but I recommend Spaghetti Squash, especially for the fall. That shit is cheap as hell right now and they last months.
