To be fair, I don't like Biden, but I wouldn't be thrilled about my preschool being led in a chant denouncing him. They're five. The sum of their political knowledge is probably "The president is the leader of our country. He lives in the White House in Washington, D.C."

In 2020, 61% of Orange County voted Biden and Orlando's house district went 63% democrat. If we assume Disney employees are typical of the county at large, the majority of them genuinely opposing the bill doesn't seem unlikely.

The thing is that Twitter is probably one of the best ways for her to get her message to the people who need to hear it. Otherwise, she's preaching to the choir.

The knife cuts both ways. What does it way about the "lack of representation" in things when estimates of the percentage of racial groups comes to 156%, assuming they consider being Hispanic separate from race? When their estimate of the size of the LGBTQ community is off by an order of magnitude?

The baggy clothes are probably so they don't have to bind their breasts so tightly.

In the article read in the video, Abrams says she aspires to be president of the United States.

Leftists have no consistent position on science. Sometimes they "fucking love" science and encourage you to "trust the science". Other times it's an evil colonial construct.

It works for both sides, depending on whether the bearded man is Jesus or Marx.

The media didn't lie to anyone about the number of left-handed people. I think people just aren't good at estimating these things.

Buses and subways aren't the future of public transit. The future is self-driving vans with the interior divided into private compartments.

We actually did sex ed around this time at my school in the '90s. However, it was largely related to how puberty would be changing our bodies. The main lesson was "You need to start using deodorant and showering every day."

Which one? Escape to Witch Mountain? Return to Witch Mountain? Beyond Witch Mountain? Disney's Escape to Witch Mountain? Race to Witch Mountain?

Perhaps, but it seems to have taken on greater significance based on its use in other contexts. Still, nothing particularly sinister about the Russian equivalent of "V for victory" in itself.

They also want to get their borders to the Carpathians. If they can do it, they've got a much smaller border to guard against a possible NATO invasion.

Plus, there's Sevastopol in Crimea, Russia's only port open during the winter. Their water supply depends on a canal with its source in Ukraine.

Sweden doesn't need to be worried yet. Russia's M.O. is to "protect" Russian minorities who are allegedly mistreated in neighboring countries. If the current invasion goes Russia's way, I'd put money on Russia recognizing Transnistria's independence next (they have a Russian plurality of ~30%) and using the same tactics they're using now in Moldova.

They tell us to follow the science and listen to the CDC. Now that the CDC says it's safe to remove your mask, suddenly they don't trust them.

I like the people who blame Trump for this. I guess they forgot the conflict between Russia and Ukraine during the Obama administration. If you'll recall, Russian aggression against Ukraine led to Obama imposing economic sanctions on Russia in 2014. I wonder why we only have these issues when Democrats are in office.

The idea of people dodging something moving the speed of light is absurd anyway. Jedi can deflect blaster bolts with their lightsabers because the force moves them into the right position before the blaster fires.

I'd be more concerned about how this would effect triage or wait lists. In addition to focusing on the medical side of things, the doctor also has to think whether he's going to get cancelled for being "unconsciously biased".

I like how they got their own press release wrong:

"I'm looking forward to see what they do, and I know that Ramsey Nato and her team are excite to take the Nick Animation Studio into another great direction with their first ever CG-animated theatrical," he added.

Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius was released a little over 20 years ago.

From the comments:

Is there a list of illegal activities are are permitted and illegal activities that aren't permitted? Because it's getting confusing.

He's got the wrong moral system. They're consequentialists. There's nothing off limits if it advances DIE.
