how would it be possible to check all possibilities at once

It's a cool fact about the universe that will blow your mind: in some ways, the universe doesn't appear to be "computational" - meaning, it doesn't act like a computer.

One interpretation for the things we see at the quantum level is the Many Worlds interpretation. This is the idea that there are literally an infinite number of alternate universes, with infinitely more of them being created from moment to moment.

Got a pair of sunglasses? Okay, the lenses are polarized. When a photon reflects off a surface, the photon becomes polarized, and when that photon encounters a polarized lens, there's a chance it will be blocked by the lens, and a chance it will go through. This is why your sunglasses reduce the glare of light reflected off the windshields of cars.

The Many Worlds hypothesis says that when the photon becomes polarized, it doesn't actually "decide" at that moment which way it's polarized. And it wont ever bother to decide unless someone measures it (like for example with a polarized filter). At the moment when it's measured, according to this theory, the entire universe splits in two, and there's a universe where the measurement went one way and a whole other universe where it went the other way. There are literally two different versions of you, the observer - one in the universe where the photon made it through, and one where it was blocked.

And this is an interpretation that scientists take seriously because there's real evidence for it. You can probably see how this could not possibly be computational - it wouldn't be possible to build a computer that actually simulated this. You can't build a computer that actually does all the universes.

I don't have a really good practical understanding of quantum computers. I know that they very carefully keep particles in the wave state (they don't measure the particles). They let the particles become entangled with other particles, and they measure those. And somehow, they are able to use this to get results in a single operation that, in a classical computer would require brute force (you'd have to check every possibility).

Yeah. As u/ajfofjakf pointed out, TERFs are radical feminists who helped to destroy the stable, functional society we once had, and now they're mad that they're ideology has turned on them.

But what really cracks me up is that TERFs are the only kind of leftists who regularly get banned from Reddit. A great examples is (was) /r/pinkpillfeminism/ - the "pink" pill is the idea that all men are bad, so women should never associate with them. There's a website that caches image posts from subreddit, you can get an idea of what kind of content was posted there: https://pholder.com/r/pinkpillfeminism/

So they hate men. And that was totally okay with Reddit. But then some of the men they hate claimed to actually be women and wanted to join them in hating men. The pink pillers said "no" and that's when Reddit banned them

It's just funny to me the way leftist logic works. You can point your finger at a person and say that you hate them, and if the person you hate "identifies" as a white male, that's fine. But if the person changes their identity you're no longer allowed to hate them.

How fucked is this country when the federal government is hunting conservatives while leftists are literally seizing city blocks, setting up checkpoints, "autonomous zones" and extorting businesses, burning and looting businesses, and terrorizing people

Well keep in mind, you're comparing what we have today to actual communism after the purges

The very first thing that every communist regime does is kill all the "useful idiots." All the intellectuals who supported communism? Off to the gulag. The early organizers who created and passed out communist propaganda? Off to the gulag. The "true believers" in the ideal of communism? For-fucking sure they go straight to the gulag.

Why? Because these people are willing and able to question the actual policies of the """communist""" government. And a communist government is really just a totalitarian government with a better origin story. Anyone who questions or may question them gets purged, and purged hard.

The people who survive in positions of political power aren't actually communists - they're sociopaths willing to crack skulls to support the totalitarian government. They're basically gangsters.

And then afterwards, when the dust settles, you might get a few children's books. Sure. That's fine. Whatever. That's like selling lemonade on a block controlled by the mafia. They don't give a shit.

You're comparing that with what we have today. What we have today is much closer to the Salem Witch Trials. These people are literally brainwashed, and the people in power support them.

I got banned in the thread about the latino man and woman who were pulled from their car by blacks and executed.

I was banned because I replied to a comment by a pussy SJW whining that /r/actualpublicfreakouts was racist. They actually believe that the subreddit is racist just because it allows such videos. The "not racist" position, I guess, is just looking the other way.

They infiltrate (force themselves) into all sorts of communities!

The admins tell the moderators, "accept this new person as a moderator or we'll shut you down." To be honest, I'm more upset that the original moderators didn't post a sticky notifying the community, and then go down with the ship. The original moderators loved their power too much, so they bent the knee when the admins threatened them.

When reddit first became censorious, they did it in a ham-fisted way. They would just shut subreddits down. The way they do it these days is much more subtle. They bring in SJW moderators (ironically, actual racists - but the Good Kind of Racists) and remove individual people. Eventually, they turn the subreddit woke just like every other subreddit.

shortly before Rome fell, gender and sexuality obsessions were on the rise.

Yes, the book Sexual Personae discusses that as well.

We may possibly be close enough to a kind of technological singularity to avoid total collapse this time, but we're definitely headed down a dark path.

Hey man, I'm still looking over the census and I just discovered a huge problem with your analysis:

Subtracting colored slave owners (261,918 (p. 10)),

The chart you're looking at says "non-slaveholding" and "slaveholding" but you need to look at the heading - the heading says "states"

You thought that 261,918 was the number of black slave owners. No. It's the number of free blacks in slaveholding states. I don't (yet, I'm still looking) see any information on how many of those 261,918 free blacks actually owned slaves.

The total number of slave owners was 385,000 in 1860 (p. ?).

I can't find that number either. I really think you need a source for that. It's the linchpin of this whole thing.

Great work on the rest of it though.

It boggles my mind that people would look around and say, "well, I'm a Democrat, and my state is entirely controlled by Democrats, and when I say entirely I mean the fucking dog catcher is a committed Democrat and so is everyone on up to the governor ....and my state sucks! I think I'll move to a Republican state which is clean and safe and sane ...and then vote in some Democrats"

I just literally don't get it. Do you ever meet CA refuges and talk to them? Do you ask them if they have considered the possibility that their political beliefs will turn Idaho into the exact thing they left behind?

They should really watch that thing where instructions are no longer in actual language, they're just funny little caveman type pictograms

sounds interesting, can you link me?

I'm confident that this is the plan of democrats, leftists, and globalists. But it may not work as well as they assume.

Check this out: https://www.theblaze.com/news/republican-flips-mayorship-mcallen-texas

tl;dr this county is 85% hispanic and they just elected a republican mayor. A lot of hispanics are pissed at the dems for the way they are constantly fellating blacks.

When everyone around you tells you you're brave and stunning and special you tend to get delusional.

I sometimes wonder what that's like. Not that I want to be delusional, but I just wonder what it would be like to live in a society that validates everything I do - just to experience it once. Like a vacation or something.

I'm an evil white male and I'm constantly told that I'm privileged, and that because I'm privileged, I need to be denied something or other - a job, an education, whatever. I just wonder what it would be like for someone to say, "oh wow! a white male! We're so glad to have you! We know you're going to improve this organization!"

And I wonder what it would be like to go to school and sit in a history class and be taught that every historical figure who looks like you is automatically good and virtuous. And beyond history class, to have race brought up in every other class - always in a way that validates me.

I don't think it's lethal enough to be a bioweapon.

However, people seem to have forgotten a story that came out early on about it having HIV-like features. I can definitely believe they were building a bioweapon and it escaped before it was ready.

Or alternately, the real effects of it haven't been seen yet. If the whole fucking world has AIDS in five years based on this, that'll be a true apocalypse.

If it leaked unintentionally because of the incompetence of Chinese scientists, that isn't a conspiracy
