People can be convinced to support anything if you fill their heads up with what the world owes them.

One of my favorite media prevarications is referring to overwhelmingly negative feedback as "mixed."

She will use you to have kids while she still can, and then she will leave you, take your house and your money and you will be lucky if you ever see those kids again.

"muh degeneracy" brigade

That's an interesting way to say establishment campaign to distract right-wing voters from more important issues that they don't want to address.

There is always this kind of bullshit going on in Pakistan, and people are always out in the streets protesting something. I'm pretty sure every former Pakistani PM/president has been arrested, assassinated or exiled. This is nothing new.

The word around related forums is that they're getting hit hard with DDOS attacks, although I thought their new distribution format was supposed to make that harder. There may be more to it.

Any story involving these two is a race to the bottom of the IQ barrel.

And then post it on Twitter for all to see so when he doesn't call her tomorrow all whiny and hurt like she seems to think he will, she can't retroactively withdraw consent and accuse him of rape.

There are only two genders. Your gender is determined by your chromosomes. Men cannot become women. If this comment is still here in 5 minutes, you will have your answer.

ID requirements in real life don't give the state and a hundred third parties the power to track every other purchase you make and every other place you visit. Internet ID checks do have that effect, and I would argue that that is the point of this law. My problem with it is not its stated goals, which I'm sympathetic to. My problem isn't even that it won't work, which it won't. My problem is that it undermines the principles of online privacy and anonymity, and that that is its real goal.

I don't like internet regulation period, even when its stated goals conform to my moral sensibilities, because I have enough common sense to know that that is not the real goal.

This has always been the problem with boomercon politics. It's always, "Freedom! Free speech! School choice! Medical freedom! Free to own guns! Free to pray in schools! Oh, but you better put your jackboots down on video games and porn, because I don't like the way other parents raise their children, so I want the government to do it for them!"

expecting to fix that problem in one generation is unreasonable.

Expecting to fix that problem by banning porn is unreasonable. Most of the internet is porn. The only way to achieve the boomercon goal here is totalitarian control over internet activity that would make every leftist cum like gangbusters.

the sexual revolution is what led to a lot of those problems and porn was a key driver

Here you conflate causes with consequences. If the internet had been invented a hundred years ago, or a thousand, it would still be mostly porn. This is human nature.

I agree that our children should be more demanding, but the entire establishment agenda is built around ensuring that they inherit less.

It has been the essential duty of every generation in human history to strive to leave behind a better world for the next generation, to ensure that those who come after them will be better off and have an easier life. Some generations, just like some individual parents, have tried and failed. Others succeeded, but all acknowledged that that was their responsibility.

Only the post-war generations, starting with the Boomers, have become so preoccupied with our own opulence and prosperity, and with the unnecessary guilt we feel about it, that we have allowed ourselves to be convinced that it is instead our duty to ensure our children are worse off than we were.

Whether the reason is to save the planet, or to help the poor unfortunate refugees who come from broken corrupt shithole countries, or to help those who still live there; whether it's sacrificing their future prosperity to protect their grandparents from the sniffles, or sacrificing it on the altar of climate change, social justice, women's rights, animal rights or whatever other excuse the elite come out with next to convince us all that the middle class is a bad thing and the very concept of social and economic mobility needs to be abandoned, the Western polities will eat it all up like clotted cream. We have become so obsessed with our own self-flagellation and existential angst that we allow the elites who govern us to convince us that the only way to leave a better world for our children is to deliberately impoverish them all.

And you, you crusty, syphilitic, pedo-fawning MSM rainbow cunt, are a part of the machine that drives that narrative. You want your children to demand more from you? Start with quitting your pathetic excuse for a job and consigning yourself to the same poverty and uncertainty that your agenda has forced onto them.

The personal nature of the attacks on Quartering in this piece make me wonder if this is just a function of Bounding being ideologically aligned with Walsh on this issue, or if they've chosen to write a bullshit smear piece because they just don't like Hambly.

I find The Quartering barely tolerable, but he is 100% correct on this issue. His problem is that he's built his career and made all of his money by picking fights that didn't need to occur, and by inserting himself into other people's drama that didn't involve him, and every time he does that, he makes enemies. Some of those enemies are influencers too, and when the opportunity comes along for them to report on drama that does involve Hambly, he's increasingly going to find that their reporting doesn't necessarily reflect the facts of that particular case so much as it reflects the fact that they just don't like him.

It's hard to feel sorry for the man, even when he's right as he is here. He invites this kind of treatment.

No he just tried to pass it off that way after he got called on it.

Wouldn't matter if it was: the result was the same. He did it because he knew he'd lost the argument and he wanted to mitigate the damage by getting the stream taken down, with no regard for the potential consequences for Gary's channel. Because McInnes is a piece of shit.

12
dagthegnome 12 points ago +12 / -0

No it happened. Gary had to take the stream down because actual penis violates YT, Odysee and Rumble's TOS

He went on about how they were all a bunch of emotionally retarded man babies and virgins and how real men only care about sports, cars and girls, and when the debate didn't go his way he whipped his dick out live on stream. It was very small.

And JP Morgan will get to purchase them all for pennies on the dollar when they would not normally be able to.

Well Tolkien did say he meant his stories to be a sort of prehistory of the real world, but I don't think he ever asserted that anything he wrote actually happened.
