I think you're seeing evidence that deep states control the major powers regardless of whoever is supposedly in charge, and one of their justifications for maintaining a complex state security apparatus is the stability needed to hold onto your nukes. Real revolutions can never be allowed to happen in nuclear powers. In the US there are people who, in the event of an actual revolution, wouldn't hesitate to nuke fellow Americans to keep their nukes from falling into the enemy's hands. That or the other countries would invade us under the same pretense.
There is always this kind of bullshit going on in Pakistan, and people are always out in the streets protesting something. I'm pretty sure every former Pakistani PM/president has been arrested, assassinated or exiled. This is nothing new.
