Outlaw country has always been my favorite. The classic stuff like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Chris Kristofferson. It's making a comeback right now in a big way, with guys like Bryan Martin, Warren Zeiders, Colt Graves and Jackson Dean.
Story songs have always been a good subgenre as well of country and American folk. Darrell Scott, Michael Ray and the Turnpike Troubadours are all good examples.

Even using a 320 kbps format to download mp3s from YouTube, the quality is just shit. That's why I prefer FLAC files, but even 320 mp3s from albums are better quality. YouTube compresses too much of the original audio during upload.
On a related note, the single best resource for downloading free music, Free-MP3-Download.net, just got shut down. They were around for almost 2 decades and had a pretty much limitless catalogue of songs and albums that you could get in MP3 and FLAC format. I still have thousands of files that I got from that site, but it looks like the music industry finally managed to put a stop to it.

Conservative Inc is an enormous detriment to the cultural pushback against woke ideology and Globalism.
Whether it's because they're there to gatekeep and prevent the start of an actual populist cultural movement, or because they're just stupid, the result of the Boomercon approach taken by guys like Walsh and Shapiro and the rest who look down on the pop culture facet of the culture war is the same. They're not only deliberately giving up ground in the battle for our society's cultural soul, but that they're actively pushing young people into the hands of leftists, who do understand the political importance of this space.
