Conservative Inc is an enormous detriment to the cultural pushback against woke ideology and Globalism.
Whether it's because they're there to gatekeep and prevent the start of an actual populist cultural movement, or because they're just stupid, the result of the Boomercon approach taken by guys like Walsh and Shapiro and the rest who look down on the pop culture facet of the culture war is the same. They're not only deliberately giving up ground in the battle for our society's cultural soul, but that they're actively pushing young people into the hands of leftists, who do understand the political importance of this space.
Yall really must not watch Walsh. He hates nerd culture because he sees it as weakening our society. Even when he's obviously self censoring he'd fit in on this forum otherwise
This forum is still rooted in GamerGate. We are here because of nerd culture. Pop culture is by definition the facets of culture that young people are interested in. If conservatives refuse to fight for it, we are giving that generation to the left. All of their cultural experiences will be shaped by communists, globalists, anti-white narratives and LGBTards, and the right will continue to lose by sitting back and whining about how childish it is to care about that stuff at all. By deriding pop culture, Matt Walsh isn't fighting the degradation of our society: he is actively encouraging it.
I was here before virtually everyone else. The absolute obsession with video games and defending Amy criticism of them is the problem. We haven't won shit on the video game or pop culture front yet yall keep insisting that everyone should continue consuming it en mass.
Most of our problems are exactly because people have allowed pop culture to dominate their lives. I love much of pop culture as entertainment but it doesn't offend me if others don't like or even dislike the things I do
We're not talking about a difference in taste here. We're talking about how all of the establishment boomercon pundits seem intent on alienating and making themselves irrelevant to young people by not only dismissing pop culture and video games, but by routinely shitting on people for liking it.
The fact that you're sitting here accusing me of engaging in that behavior when we've spent decades on the receiving end of it from guys like Matt Walsh, Stephen Crowder and Gavin McGuiness proves that you're the one who isn't paying attention.
