I disagree. The downvote button was perfect for filtering out retards, foreigners, bots, shills, Imp, etc.
Real people with real accounts should have their voices prioritized and protected. The downvote button gives me a little bit of control to ensure that happens.

This is a good point. Being a homemaker has always been a luxury. If you were rich enough you had servants/slaves anyway. If you were poor your woman had to work. A stay-at-home-mom was always a middle class aspiration.
