You're too hung up on a vaccine to see what's interesting here. Basic bitch censorship has trained the soccer mom demographic to be subversives.

Back when this whole internet thing kicked off the nerds were convinced it would create a new era of human dialogue. They were absurdly naive. What happened is that by the late 90s Intelligence services and NGOs has rigged the game. See: the history of google. By the time social media began to come on to the scene the powers that be already had the whole thing under lock and key. As far as the movers and shakers of culture and governance were concerned, they controlled the world. It was even better than the previous half century of mass media because the proles thought their ideas were their own.

The problem is some folks just won't buy in. We sit here on this "gamer" forum because a bunch of us were dragged kicking and screaming into political awareness. But who gives a shit right? It's video games.

Then came the experimental vaccine for a minor cold. A few parents, and it was only a few, said maybe don't give my kid this drug. Remember at this point the movers and shakers think they've more or less got this social control thing in the bag. So what do they do? They censor the few subversives. Problem is that as fat dumb and happy as the average moron is, they are not fat dumb and happy enough to risk their children.

This fat dumb and happy "mom demographic" didn't know they had subversive opinions until social medial began banning their posts. Now they know. Now they are adapting. Will these anti-vaxxers "save us"? No, but now they know that there is a "they" out there, and "they" may not have everyone's best interest in mind.

All that to say: thanks to wonton censorship, a bunch more people have discovered they have been thrown into the pit along with Gamgergate, the Alt-right, and whoever else progressives see fit to disagree with.

The 17th may have been a worse idea than the 19th.

I was afraid including that bit about learning to code would distract from my (poor) attempt at pointing out that AI will probably soon be better at some of the jobs in tech/writing/art than people are. I think the issue is using the term AI to begin with. It's too broad and people always jump to human level capability (and more importantly awareness). The technologies in this discussed in OP's link are not Inteligent; others in the thread are more correct in calling it machine learning. That having been said, we all assume the internet is filled with bots, so the idea of bots that can be more convincingly human and produce marketing work or a news article of sufficient quality to replace human workers hardly seems farfetched at this point.

You don't have to replace everyone for the technology to apocalyptically upend and industry. Probably for the best.

This "generative AI" thing is going to get interesting. If you've seen any of those "day in the life of [a woman] in tech" videos it's pretty clear that these jobs could be done by literal monkeys. These AI will be better at marketing type jobs than people currently working them. Same go for journalists. Here's the thing, these AI are going to replace the high paying jobs that the typical progressive yearns for. Learning to code won't even save them then. What then? It will be funny to see these guys advocating for legal protections for their jobs after decades of supporting the offshoring or outright destruction of blue collar work.

There are two things I've managed not to see on the internet: goatse and literal cp. That being said, I'm guessing photos like these figure prominently in actual cp collections before the subject matter become progressively more... evil.

Yeah, that's what I recall. It was an odd moment of clarity before everybody decided they were on board with kiddie drag shows.

And they didn't mention it to local law enforcement?

first alert was the highest possible warning

"When we receive potential threats against our community, our churches, our child care centers, we must take it seriously,"

"We have no specific threats at this time, and we're looking into it."

This really isn't as funny as it seems. A state agency is telling blacks that whitey is coming for their children. This will result in 'defensive' violence because people are too stupid to question it.

Anyone here knowledgeable on this type of bio research because I have a few questions.

Given that most of these researchers will publish their findings in some form or fashion, what prevents bad actors from weaponizing? You need an industrial base to create most WMDs. It seems you could put together the next COVID in your basement. Are there any laws preventing ME from making the next COVID in my basement? Why the fuck is this shit not ITAR restricted or straight up classified?

The pearl clutching around Walsh is pretty funny because this is what they have been reduced to. Even his comments saying basically that if you knock a girl up the least you can do is marry her didn't get much traction. He must really not have any skeletons in his closet. All because this pretty vanilla guy goes about saying trannys aren't actually women and maybe we shouldn't mutilate children. Progressives rely on their opponents looking like Westboro Baptist types. Normal looking people talking to other normal looking people are a problem.

Given the health of the average American, can the Public Health apparatus claim any successes over the last half century? I can't name any, so why are they taken seriously? It's pretty apparent that at this point that public health officials are unelected political officers who can demand, or even enforce, right behaviors without input from those they supposedly serve.

Public Health is a threat to democracy.

Consume product. Don't ask questions. Get excited for next product.

This has to be one of my favorite bits of memetic warfare given it was unintentionally provided by a dude that probably would fly a rainbow flag. Up there with "It's OK to be White" and "What is a woman?"

THE ANTISEMITIC POINT OF NO RETURN

I hate to say it, but the lady doth protest too much, methinks.

I mean its the ONLY way we could ever come close to providing the free/universal <insert thing> that progressives demand. But the idea of putting in work to get something in return is beyond the average college commie.
