His conviction was legitimate, and even his posthumous pardon in the 80s did not include an exoneration. All that having been said, he did have his sentence commuted prior to his open-source hanging.

Things like #bantheadl are obviously orchestrated by -- wait for it-- the ADL. I'm not going to get bogged down arguing something about the JQ: we know that groups like ADL or JIDF thrive on the perception of "antisemitism". It would be much more believable if #whywastheADLfounded was trending.
