Call it confirmation bias if you will, but I've been reading a lot of stories like this lately. It seems that Christianity is the next major target for subversive entryism (which makes sense since it's a strong right-wing bastion, and a stable source of tradition, identity and community).
People like these are not actually pastors, they have no sincerity to bring to the role and probably don't even believe in God. It's a shallow, trendy identity for them at best but more likely it's deliberate infiltration.
That, or the propaganda has become so ubiquitous and effective that Christian leaders are falling like dominos.

There's nothing in the stated tenets of the First Christian Church that advocates exalting pride or identity or sexuality. They're all about Jesus. This isn't so much "live and let live" as it is a cringey radical political demonstration.
