If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. You ought to stop, but you get to live.
Child abuse? Jesus Christ himself passed judgement on that one, and his recommendation was you kill yourself because there are worse sins than suicide.
Your inability to say "these two things are bad, but this one is far worse" belies a complete disinterest in moral thought.
Elephants mourn for lost loved ones. Squirrels 'plan' for the future. Dogs dream about chasing prey - they 'practice'. The only human behavior that has no equivalent in the animal kingdom is abstraction.
If you cannot see how desiring childlike appearance and behavior sexually is bad for you and should be abhorred, perhaps you are incapable of that abstract thinking.
Before a monster preys on a child, s/he desires to do so. If you feel even a shadow of that same desire, it is your moral obligation to fight against it, not to exercise it for the brief moment of gratification it brings you, you self-righteous twat.
I think the New Testament offers some solid guidance on the matter (by way of inference, because anime hadn't been invented yet).
Loli, created by adults, harms you, but no innocents. If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. You ought to stop, but you get to live.
Child abuse? Jesus Christ himself passed judgement on that one, and his recommendation was you kill yourself because there are worse sins than suicide.
People who don't think it's possible to oppose both are missing the fact that in the foundational work of Western morality, desiring the wrong thing and doing the wrong thing are both sins. "You shall not covet thy neighbor's wife" and "You shall not commit adultery" are separate commandments for a reason - not least of which because desiring something sinful is the first step on the road to acting on that desire.
Perhaps it is my own blindness outside my moral foundation, but I cannot fathom how anyone could fail to see a good-faith objection to producing or consooming sexualized images of fictional children. To me, it is impossible not to reach the conclusion that both are bad, even if one is far worse.
It turns out your hack writers can photocopy something good from your childhood, get something decent, and make a quick buck, but then your new hack writers photocopy something decent from their childhood, and you get something bad, and nobody but the audience seems to realize it's bad.
If this movie beats Indiana Jake at the end of both films' domestic theatrical run, I'm probably going to injure myself laughing.
I've been looking forward to the release of this game since it was announced, and knowing my distaste for replaying large chunks of a game from scratch, I don't do early access games because I know I'll never re-start them when they release, so I'll never finish.
Bear nookie has nothing to do with it. The release date definitely does.
"Why, Gary? Why?"
Because it needed to be done.

MGS3 was the best of the bunch by far.
I don't know anyone who hasn't heard of Joan of Arc
Children's Crusade personified. She was a figurehead, not a fighter. There's value to leadership, but the only way you avoid getting your head bashed in is to put your troops between you and the enemy.
The weight difference isn't as much as you'd think. Length would be a big factor, but most swords were in the same weight range. Shorter ones were thicker and heavier for their size. A gladius and a rapier were roughly the same weight.
Death to capeshit.
The Patriarchy got us pretty far, before the institution abdicated its duties and allowed skanks to walk about unchallenged.
I'm not an animal.
Anybody below 80, we're basically putting on a society-wide puppet show to pretend their contributions matter, because to do otherwise would potentially foster violent resentment.
We have a difficult path ahead. How do we show due reverence to the value of all human life, when there is no dignity to be found in work? How do we make people whose jobs can be replaced by a server with a few graphics cards in it feel like their contributions are valuable?
If we don't find a way to do this, we're going to be failing our fellow man in a catastrophic way.
Let them eat be paste.
Well that's bullshit. Almost as bullshit as my backup drive's index being on my failed OS drive.
... and a DOD ID number scratched in its place.
