That is TDS on nitro-methane, not steroids.

Good lord...

I think the rest of the family got the better end of the deal with that.

The deep state is made up of people in positions of power, and to destroy the deep state, you have to remove those people.

Trump cannot unilaterally fire a lot of civil service positions, but he can move those people around. He can have the military build a big Federal compound on Adak Island, Alaska, and transfer a whole bunch of deep state people there, and let them all sit at a desk staring at a wall for 8 hours a day, with resignation the only way off the island.

Nick Fuentes talked about this guy at length, which is why I said he wasn't wrong when it comes to his analysis of Trump, just his reaction to Trump winning.

Remember that almost all economists are big tree trade advocates, thanks to Adam Smith's book Wealth of Nations, and to them getting in the way of free trade is tantamount to heresy.

None of them seem to grasp that the US hasn't enjoyed truly free trade with Japan since the US gave up the military governorship, and hasn't had free trade with China since the 1940s.

Of course they are, they the most college credentialed cohort in human history, and their heads are filled to the brim by the crap their professors taught them, Gen X academic faculty who all graduated in the 1990s when critical theory bullshit took over colleges.

Damn, if those were the regular reddit users, that place wouldn't be a shit show.

We should track that thread, and see if it survives, or get banned into oblivion.

Tariffs are how the Asian export economies keep imports out from their domestic markets. Japan has done this for many decades, and China does it, too.

Importing a US domestic manufactured car into Japan is a nightmare of red tape and fees, and they do this on purpose, to keep non-Japanese manufacturers out of their markets. If you ever see a Ford/GM/Crysler car in Japan, go buy a lottery ticket, because they are incredibly rare. Last time I was on mainland Japan, around Yokusaka circa 1999-2000, there were two, that I know of: a Corvette and a Grand Am. I'd see them driving around, and they always drew lots of stares, because of how rare they are.

I don't think importing a used car made and sold overseas has tariffs applied. JDM cars imported here don't have tariffs, AFAIK, just local sales taxes. Tariffs would apply to new cars built overseas but intended to be sold here.

The threat of tariffs in the 1980s are why Japanese car manufacturers have production plants in the US now. If they build their cars here, no tariffs.

Imports from China has long needed wage and environmental law arbitrage tariffs , for two decades or more. They rob us blind while polluting the hell out of their country and working their people literally to death, and this is without even getting into their total disregard for intellectual property or the organized crime family that is the CCP.

Vance is the heir apparent to Trump, that is the impact his pick has had. Everyone can see it, and no one seems to object much to it.

Walz was yet another brain dead choice in a long list of brain dead choices made by an incompetent diversity hire of a woman who has never won any major elected office outside of CA. Her loss was only in doubt because of worry about a repeat of 2020 fraud, and the major institutions of the professional class burying the gas pedal into the floor in their attempt to gas light the nation into thinking of her as Presidential material.

The fraud didn't happen, and the major institutions no longer have the credibility to set the Narrative anymore thanks to the way they all blew the backs of their own heads off during COVID spreading misinformation.

You are seeing now why Biden picked her as VP, as a walking talking guarantee to not be 25th Amendmented out of office.

I might have posted too soon, the House may not flip.

We'll have to see.

I grow tired of economists who haven't groked that the theory of competitive advantage so beloved by free traders is bullshit when labor is as mobile as capital.

Tariffs protect domestic industry from predatory offshoring of labor. China needs tariffs on their imports that offset their lack of environmental and labor laws.

X needs to offer block and mute, like Gab does. Block means they can't see or reply, mute means they just cant reply.

She took the Ticket, and will pay the price, like all of them do, for fame.

Compare and contrast her career to that of Tom McDonald, who has not taken the Ticket, and has more talent in the tip of his pinky finger than that fucking whore has in her entire body.

university student body is 2/3 women, degrees awarded are 2/3 women, so it should not be a surprise that women out earn men in areas where a university degree carry a premium. This has been known for a while, as an outgrowth over the controversy over the "women earn $0.79 compared to men." Women out earn men early on, but then it flips later on, after men climb the salary range with experience, and women dropping out to have children.

I don't choose a character to represent myself in the game, I choose a character to represent myself IN THE STORY of the game.

This is the part the DEI cultists just cannot get, the story drives the game not the characters, and DEI people universally suck at writing a good story. Their books suck, their video content sucks, their games suck, all for this same exact reason.

Larry Corriea has made this point over and over again when it comes to books, that woke books have shit storytelling, and it shows in the one metric that matters: No one buys them.

So it goes with woke video games: no one buys them.

I've seen videos of her speaking on something she knows well, and she doesn't come across as an idiot. Her problem is that she can tick off the number of things she knows well using the fingers on one hand.

She is a culturally cloistered girl boss of the professional class, with a heaping helping of diversity hire thrown in. She has never known accountability, knows next to nothing, and cannot handle pressure at all.

Because I have limited my book reading primarily to authors published by Baen, or titles I found on Amazon, I haven't noticed the heavy female bias of regular publishing. I haven't even been into a book store in almost a decade.

If I were a male author, I wouldn't even try to get published with the Big 5 publishers. I'd try Baen, or some other smaller publisher, or just self publish on Amazon.

Remember that Elon is suing Media Matters, and will more than likely own the place when he wins. All I see here is justification to bring even more lawsuits against Media Matters.

They just can't stop defaming people, and it will lead to their demise.

From what I could see, there were 4 of them, and yes, they are reasonably competent with their gear, but in a two way gun fight, their lack of numbers mean they get squashed like a grape anyway.

They will not have any popular support, and their lifestyle makes it impossible to blend in with the general population, so they will be easy to find.
