I can also say that if Nick hadn't been banned off of everything like he was he'd be the biggest right wing commentator on the internet right now, and it wouldn't be close. Spotify let Nick on for a very short time recently, and in that time Nick eclipsed Joe Rogan for the #1 show, whereupon Spotify promptly banned him again.

I'm on various Mechwarrior 5 discord servers, mostly mod related. It is actually helpful to be there, as I can get help on how to do things in the modmaking field. I also am a beta tester for the developer for Mechwarrior 5, Mercs and Clans both. The place has a strict no politics rule which is enforced, so it is tolerable. I am fully aware of all the warts related to Discord, but in this case, the utility outweighs the negatives.
The evangelical wing of establishment right wing commentariat are freaking out over Tucker having Nick on, and really freaking out about the statement Heritage Foundation made about it.
They just cannot, will not, deal with how unpopular Jewish influence is with the under 35 crowd, and will do their damnedest to gate keep against it. It will be a major point of contention next year for the 2026 Congressional races, and be a really big deal in 2028. Taking any Jewish lobbying money will be a huge negative, and if Trump keeps doing what he's been doing, his endorsements will be toxic, and no one in the GOP will want him anywhere near them.

What I'm trying to get across is that you cannot project modern society back in time and have a valid comparison, because the times were different. Back when 1 income families were the norm, that family simply had fewer bills, and to live today as a one income family that means you have to leave the coasts, and most major cities, and live more like that one income family did 40 years ago.

Something I never see talked about much these days is how those 1 income households lived. No cell phones, no internet, most of them no cable TV, one TV in the house, most had no game consoles, living in a 1400 square food house with 2 bedrooms and one bath room, kids shared a room and slept on bunkbeds. Phone was a land line. Home cooked meals cooked from scratch were the norm, eating out was a treat done maybe once a week.
If you live like that, now, in the midwest, it is certainly possible to live as a one income family.
My childhood was this way, in SoCal. One income all the way though high school, mom stayed home to cook, clean, raise the kids.
It isn't possible to do it anymore on the coasts, though, cost of living (primarily housing) is just waaay to high.

I don't disagree with the quote, but at the same time, I think nominally right people should do it anyway. Why? To put progressives on defense, to make them react, to make them look over their shoulder, to take away their initiative, at least in a small way.
Conservatives have stopped trying to get into the places progressives dominate, and I think that is tactically erroneous. Sometimes it is tactically useful to charge headlong into your own destruction, which the role Torpedo 6 and Torpedo 8 served in the Battle of Midway. Those squadrons attacked with 12 planes each, and only 2 survived from Torpedo 6. Torpedo 8 was shot down entirely, and only one man survived, but, this attack drew the Zero air cover down to low level, which gave the arriving dive bombers a clear sky to attack the Japanese carriers, which sank 3 of them.
Yep, look at all the comments to that, every one of them say he was murdered by police, which we know now isn't true, but they don't know that, because their news sources won't report it, which is the entire point of grokipedia in the first place.

We all know, of course, but compare and contrast to wikipedia. Think about how many people get their initial information dump on a subject from wikipedia (journalists being the big one), and how there is now a separate repository of info that isn't obscure like infogalactic.
