I'd rather glass them than displace them. Because, if it's about civilians Israel should welcome in them, not doing it would be hypocrisy

Gigachad: Yes

But not for the reason they think. Just like BG3, making every character a raging bi is unrealistic and ruins the immersion

It's a cultural gag, because japanese people do get tanned in summer

They don't want to stop piracy, they failed to capture japan for the most part, so this is the best next thing.

If you want official anime/manga, you'll have to pay the lolcowlizers and the leech distributors

It's worse than that. They can literally ruin ecosystems because they have a romanticized view of nature. They prevented invasive species like goldfish, crayfish, gray squirrels, hogs and swans from being hunted, ending up in them displacing local species. They have broken into zoos, labs and even farms thinking they are freeing the animals while they are quickly eaten by local fauna or end up dying shortly since they can't adapt to another ecosystem or die from pollution.

Bleeding heart activist hurt animals

And it's always by doing something gay like protesting, because they'd never try to confront chinese poachers or denounce their "traditional medicine"

Lol. That's horseshit. Bridget was the token cute girl for the game but Ishiwatari thought that wasn't eccentric enough, so they created his backstory. The joke was the same as it is with any other otokonoko char: draw a girl, call it a man and mock people calling them gay

The strongest cope is that thanks to translation or cultural barriers

There's a rumor they did it for China, because portrayals of effeminate men are illegal there and Bridget was released around the same time a patch removed the mention of Taiwan. On the other hand, Ishiwatari said he's beyond genders like the character Testament, so who knows...

Rather incremental, fairly niche and nothing earth shattering?

Pretty much this. Ai isn't even new, neural models are newish but AI has been around since the 80s or so

If he says he's a jew, he's a jew, that's how that works. Actually, africans were the original jews, you can ask any Black israelite

A fair comparison would be a room full of GPT-3 models asked to write hamlet because that is equivalent to self organizing words.

Tbf, It's more like a room full of GPT-3 models asked to write GPT-3 models

They are closer to left-hand magic practitioners than christians, with all the subjugation of natural energy, centrality of the self, being instead of becoming, a literal "left-handed god" and all that

Eh, that's a stretch. Anakin didn't act out of love, but anger and fear.

Besides, the prequels were a messianic archetype deconstruction only after the Skywalker saga because it was thematically complementary. It also works if you think Anakin as any sinner that fell into Lucifer's influence and Luke as Jesus, since Luke's thing is redemption and forgiveness.

RondoOBlongo 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, but what about the piss poor understaning of eastern mysticism? Like how Anakin's suffering is due to attachment and being unable to accept death? The Force being akin to the Tao, everything being about balance (ying-yang), etc
