Actually, this shouldn't be all that surprising, if that "revolt" was actually a revolt. A PMC's willingness to openly go turncoat is not a good thing. But like everything else when it comes to news in that region, it's so untrustworthy that I have to question if it's even real as my default view.
On that note, the only bad thing I've heard about Baldur's Gate 3 is the absurd character creation (can't change your face or physicality one bit, but your genitals? Have at it.) and obsession with weird sex. Right now, that's enough to not get a purchase from me. That said, supposedly the game is huge, plays well, and is COMPLETE. And all the other devs are seething over its reception, going so far as to say "you need to lower your expectations when it comes to games."
And that's why things are publicly not going their way. It was just a personal project not being monetized, supposed to display his ANIMATION work, and he just wanted a little bit of voice work in line with the old Mystery Inc crew, and he can't afford the current actors. Everyone thinks those people went way too far.
23-year-old Eagan Tilghman made this in Blender, voiced Scooby, and had two unknown/amateur voices in his cast of seven, the other four being AI recreations of actors from the original series (No, he didn't use an AI Grey Delisle voice).
Eh, I liked Hyrule Warriors Zelda the most. A princess that led her soldiers on the frontlines, also secretly a badass ninja that trained in the arts of her bodyguard's people (without her knowing), and STILL didn't overshadow the Hero.
Well-off office woman is sent to redneck central for a project, meets ruggedly handsome small-town guy. They hit it off. Her office project does evil stuff to the community, causing drama between the two. She defies her employer and does something good for the community, she and the guy make up and get romantic. The end.
Note: sometimes, the roles are reversed, but that is essentially the plot of at least 75% of Hallmark romances.
You sure you're not confusing Vaush and Destiny?
