And surely it has nothing to do with it having some of the worst possible viewership numbers and ratings? How many people even know it was something that existed?
Here's the thing; Barbie did incredibly well while being chock full of woke crap. Why? It was marketed towards women.
The fact is, women want woke. The only reason it ruins superhero movies is because men don't; they'll put up with it to get their laser-explosion fix, but they don't want it. The reason they cram it into those movies is to a) ruin heroic stories and b) feminize men.
Ironically, while women will go see a woke movie because it's something they want, more and more they aren't seeing it again after that first time because they don't actually enjoy it. It's the classic truism of "women don't know what they want".
I've not seen it or much of the promotional material but some people say it was misleadingly marketed. I'm sure the memes, in particular "barbenheimer", helped gin up interest.
That’s true. Exactly what I wasn’t surprised by Barbie. What was funny is how that gay rom com bombed big time. I bet they thought women would go out and see it but they seem to forget women like romance movies/novels where men and women fall in love

Or that it was another of the endless woke remakes that nobody asked for that injects racial and lgbt crap.
