All of this sounds unfamiliar to me, or like it's an issue specific to laptops. I don't think I've ever heard of drivers being an issue for Windows 7. I think what you're more likely running into is that fresh builds, be they laptop or desktop, need to simply have motherboard drivers installed. Usually you just need to find out the motherboard model or in your case the laptop model and then go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers. It's just a bunch of .exe installers you gotta run before stuff like your network interface card will work properly.

I think you're getting into your own head with this one. The real hurdle I ran into with running 7 for so long was that Chrome stopped supporting 7 and you started running into some weirdness there.

Wow, it's almost as if our government is intent on poisoning us.

there are really good ones but have gone in hiatus for long periods.

Ah yes, I too remember waiting years between volumes of Berserk.

This comment seems to not display in the thread itself. I can only get to it via my comment replies under my account. Another thing to yell at Dom about.

They now want to put attacking Musk and the "far-right" over justice for girls who were abuse, exploited and groomed.

With any luck this will convince people that the far-right is the morally just position to take.

It would have flown completely under my radar until it got an anime adaptation, same as almost every other manga that wasn't created decades ago. I think that says more about how plugged into the manga scene I am than anything though.

I'm convinced it's simply malicious. So much of the weird decisions being made in the world make a hell of a lot more sense if you just frame them as malicious intent.

we're not allowed good, functional products

This seems to be an issue that encompasses far more than vehicles unfortunately...

It will take people dying before the lesson is learned. Everything about electric vehicles is retarded.

That's fair. I just think it's worth highlighting the fact that America has a better chance of remaining American if we stick to importing Whites when we do bother to import foreigners at all.

I don't care about their skin color

The uncomfortable reality is that you should care if you want to see America remain American. There's really no getting around it, just lots of bluster and rationalization for fear being labeled racist.

I don't think they're ever going to allow the public to knowingly provide training data again after what happened with Tay.

Not you too antonio? You, dev, Lindsey and Triggernometry

Tony's always been a leftist in denial. It's disappointing but not surprising.

That's not a firecracker, that's a bottle rocket and a fairly large one. These people should be publicly hanged.

I'm not playing defense, I know that image is in line with what Witcher 4's godawful art design is. I'm saying maybe require a little more than a random image that could be cooked up by AI and then have a Witcher 4 logo superimposed on it in Photoshop because the selection box is still visible in the screenshot. An iota of skepticism for a thing you agree with, otherwise one's skepticism and critical thinking will atrophy.

That was a loooong time ago, unfortunately.

Ugh...I feel like a digital nomad again. Drifting from place to place with nowhere to call home base. Where did my people go and how do I find them again?

I'm just so utterly burnt out on low effort garbage image posts cluttering up the forum, particularly when they're made with the assumption that everyone already knows all the information. Not everyone lives on twitter 24/7 and these kids need to get the hell off my lawn.

The fact that it's quite clearly from some photo editing software should trip some alarm bells for people that it might not be legitimate, doubly so in the age of rapidly advancing AI image generation. Everyone had a good yuck about how AI could never get hands right, but that's stopped being an issue for a while now. Why shouldn't I suspect some random unsourced image of being a fabrication? Or should I just uncritically accept all those images of Trump saving kittens from Haitian barbeques the same way I'm supposed to uncritically accept this image?

I swear there used to be a modicum of skepticism and critical analysis among the denizens who frequented KotakuInAction.

ideals of giving to the less fortunate predate him as a person

Was it in such terminology or was it more damning in actuality? The concept of charity offered to those less fortunate has been around for a very long time and is often the veneer used to lure good-hearted people into supporting Communism, so I could see someone making the equivalence there.
