Oh, that. I believe standard protocol calls for a psychic or medium to interpret the thoughts of the deceased. Still, very curious that it took so long to get one in New Orleans between the local populous* and today's rank-and-file law enforcement employees.

Edit: *populace

Understandable. It was a redirect from the url they mentioned on air, "sayhicbs.com." Whois domain information for that url is here.
The host site is something called Greenfly (you vill engage ze bugs!) It's apparently meant to be some kind of intermediary for brand and fan content.

Seems to be an English soccer-centric news group that produces a few podcasts and this half-baked website. Their social media links don't go anywhere, the "about us" pages only show an email address (maybe a browser issue?), and the main contributor's page links to a twxtter account that doesn't exist.

That's pretty surprising, if only because you don't really hear of NYC having a disproportionate influx of muslims like Minneapolis or Dearborn, MI.

Is this the logical endpoint of 'running a country like a business?' If so, I'm ashamed to have considered that a good thing.

Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.

This is why the New York Yankees win the world series every year. And Manchester United always wins the Premier League.

It looks like she's standing up and maybe takes a step during the video. Obviously being on fire can wake you up, but how or why would an unwilling victim stand still (and remain balanced)?

Shi'ites and Sunnis, right? There's a potential kernel of truth to the ophobic rhetoric, even if it's under the guise of all muslims.
Still, there were apparently other tweets he made suggesting a willingness to fight against Germany if they were going to deport invaders. And with the regime change in Syria, there have been some relevant developments for these immigrants.

The UK and other European countries have said they will suspend the processing of asylum applications from Syrians after the fall of the Assad regime in Damascus, with Austria already preparing a “repatriation and deportation” programme to the country.

In his first remarks to a Western news organisation since the toppling of Bashar al Assad, al Jolani called on the estimated 6 million refugees who have fled the country over the last 15 years to come back.

It looks like the guy has had an odd mix of beliefs/opinions.
Anti-muslim, pro asylum, pro free speech (perhaps tied specifically to discourse on muslims), and yet he decided to drive a car into a Christmas marketplace.

Some day we might begin to understand how writers or editors decide on creating headlines. Today is not that day.

No mention of another parent, assuming she is the mother of the boy. I wonder if they decided it would be too "traumatic" to separate the two if there was no other guardian figure for him. In any case, this decision could end up equating to leaving the boy in the woods.

Well, when you can't read a character's poorly portrayed facial expressions and don't get a good understanding of their priorities, morals, or goals, you're stuck asking everyone how they're doing at most every juncture in a storyline.
