Learning to understand narration and the type of descriptions used in novels is a whole different beast, but spoken dialog is generally some of the easiest stuff to conquer.

But for my sector specifically, the sheer amount of time, money, and past track record needed to secure business makes entering the sector as an outsider startup with no institutional backing borderline impossible. One could only hope to do so with hundreds of millions, if not billions, in investment.

I think he wants to have a sort of capstone signature achievement. He has been wanting this for a long time. One of the best things his tax bills have done, for instance, is vastly increase the standard deduction. This effectively serves to cut the income tax on the vast majority of people.

I can't help but assume it's very unlikely that it happens though. But if he could even cut it in half, or nullify it for anyone below like 100k income (200k MFJ), that would still be a great step in the right direction. If it happens, I think something like that is the most likely form it takes.

Edit: And while I would love federal income tax to go away, the most evil tax anyone pays is property tax on their houses. If I could choose, I would get rid of that. But I realize that is a local and state tax, so orange man does not have much of a say in it.

It is nowhere near as bad as a shithole like reddit, but even on this board there are plenty of people who have a stick up their ass about AI. Two things can be true at the same time:

1. The current (and forthcoming) iterations of AI are revolutionary in their ability to increase productivity in capable hands. Most people shitting on it act like it is a failure because it isn't perfect or because it doesn't fit their preconceived notion of what AI is that they picked up from sci-fi. But its imperfections do not nullify the sheer magnitude of productivity increase one can extract from it if they are capable.

2. "AI" has become a buzzword and the vast majority of people and companies are not utilizing it effectively. The insane levels of capital expenditure directed toward data centers is unlikely to be worth it in the long run. The AI craze has formed a bubble and the pop and resulting fallout will be interesting to watch.
