As someone who is not religious, but would never call myself an atheist, you honestly sound like a massive faggot.

I am, to say the least, extremely skeptical of any need for us to involve ourselves with Venezuela like this. But word is Maduro has already been captured. Calling this Vietnam is the height of retardation and makes you look like a hysterical moron.

Sincerely hope this doesn't spiral into anything more, but hard to see any outcome other than either some globohomo stooge being installed there, or mass unrest and disarray as a scramble for power occurs.

Based. The thing is, most of the audience doesnt even need to adapt. The retards clamoring for Japan to adapt to them are a very loud and very obnoxious minority that has significant institutional backing. The bulk majority of the audience wants Japan to keep making stuff their own way.

Yeah that's huge. I'll add that learning to the point of being able to get the gist of dialog like this is way less of an ordeal than it may initially seem. Learning to understand narration and the type of descriptions used in novels is a whole different beast, but spoken dialog is generally some of the easiest stuff to conquer.

So the problem here is that there is no "good version". You either accept a translation so bad that the plot is lost, you accept this translation and a mechanically faithful adaptation of the game, or you get the best translation alongside the baby mode version of the game.

Or learn Japanese. But of course thats not a quick solution.

I think she's crazy about some things but I will say she has absolutely earned the right to shed the title of grifter with everything she has been saying and doing. She could rake in the money still even if she played it safe and didnt go around pissing off all sorts of powerful people and groups.

If Trump goes to war with Venezuela or Iran, "at least he's not Kamala Harris" goes right out the window, in my opinion

This is crazy talk simply because the sheer number of people pouring into this country with the borders wide open. I don't want a conflict in Venezuela but I would even take Iraq/Afghanistan 2.0 over four more years of off the rails influx of illegals.

As an Ohioan as well, the biggest issue this guy will have is getting his name out there. We need to do whatever we can to spread the word. And this guy needs to do full court press on YouTube and elsewhere to get his name in the public consciousness.

I havent kept up with Gigguk and their podcast for years, but I used to like some of his seasonal anime videos. Did they really go full retard? Disappointing if so. Hasan fucking Piker as a guest for an anime podcast????

Definitely nowhere near last year's fiasco, but certainly a trash take. That being said, the ideals he describes, if actually executed perfectly in a perfect world would certainly be a big upgrade from what we currently have. The problem is we don't live in a perfect world.

Even if you don't subscribe to the notion that America should primarily be a white country, I could potentially still find some common ground. But I'll never be able to find significant common ground with someone who believes we could import Somalians, Indians, Haitians, etc en masse and have it be okay so long as they supposedly believe in free expression hard enough or something.

Not a Catholic so pardon my ignorance, but is Vatican 1 where the whole "the Pope can do no wrong" thing comes from?

Why aren't all these dispossessed white boys tribing up and dominating the industries they were excluded from?

I imagine the answer to this varies from industry to industry and sector to sector. But for my sector specifically, the sheer amount of time, money, and past track record needed to secure business makes entering the sector as an outsider startup with no institutional backing borderline impossible. One could only hope to do so with hundreds of millions, if not billions, in investment.

Lmao you can't actually be serious. No one in their right minds would consider anything that has occurred this week to be a 9/11 style attack. Not even close.

I think he wants to have a sort of capstone signature achievement. He has been wanting this for a long time. One of the best things his tax bills have done, for instance, is vastly increase the standard deduction. This effectively serves to cut the income tax on the vast majority of people.

I can't help but assume it's very unlikely that it happens though. But if he could even cut it in half, or nullify it for anyone below like 100k income (200k MFJ), that would still be a great step in the right direction. If it happens, I think something like that is the most likely form it takes.

Edit: And while I would love federal income tax to go away, the most evil tax anyone pays is property tax on their houses. If I could choose, I would get rid of that. But I realize that is a local and state tax, so orange man does not have much of a say in it.

Personally I knew it was sarcasm by recognizing your username, but the execution wasn't good on this one. Usually it's supposed to be a bit funny.

It is nowhere near as bad as a shithole like reddit, but even on this board there are plenty of people who have a stick up their ass about AI. Two things can be true at the same time:

  1. The current (and forthcoming) iterations of AI are revolutionary in their ability to increase productivity in capable hands. Most people shitting on it act like it is a failure because it isn't perfect or because it doesn't fit their preconceived notion of what AI is that they picked up from sci-fi. But its imperfections do not nullify the sheer magnitude of productivity increase one can extract from it if they are capable.

  2. "AI" has become a buzzword and the vast majority of people and companies are not utilizing it effectively. The insane levels of capital expenditure directed toward data centers is unlikely to be worth it in the long run. The AI craze has formed a bubble and the pop and resulting fallout will be interesting to watch.

Are you sure? Unless they reversed it due to predditor outcry, this is a recent feature. I enabled it for my account that I use to troll them a few months back. I checked and it indeed came up empty when I looked at my post history from another device.
