Launching rockets seems to be en vogue.
While I do not doubt that there was some cheating going on, I don't think it impacted the result much. Orban and his party has pissed off a lot of people and their opposition managed to motivate those people to actually go out and vote. Record breaking turnout shows that those that wanted Orban to win also got out in large numbers, but ultimately the other side had more people.

People here are not at each other's throats over politics as badly as in the US.
We did get to the point where people do not really listen to each other when they talk, and that the media on both sides distorts reality to the point where it is difficult to know the truth, making people live in at least somewhat different realities.
Ballots here are paper based and are hand counted. While I do not doubt that there was some cheating going on, I don't think it impacted the result much. Not really, paper based ballots and hand counting is the norm.
Unlikely, as elections are pretty secure here. Single day voting, 6 am - 7 pm, have to show government issued photo ID, have to find your name in the printed voter roll, and sign it with your official signature.
If you mean Orban's opposition, first and foremost I have to wonder how they got so popular in what feels like a relatively short amount of time.
Knowing that the globohomo wants Orban gone makes me worried about what his potential loss would bring about.
As a local, it does feel like more people want him and his party gone. I am in the capital, which has always been more left leaning, so that probably affects how I feel what the result will be. Him and his party are definitely more popular in the rural areas.
Good news, if they really are white. Any reason to doubt?
Thanks for the original comment, and Rome was definitely a good watch.
Never seen any of it, so I will give them a shot, thanks for the recommendations, and the writeup!
Watched all of those, and they are definitely worth checking out, thanks!
Those really are older shows, but it might be interesting to give them a shot, thanks!
I recall watching a few episodes of Breaking Bad and for some reason not continuing with it, but I will give it another go, thanks!
Thanks, will take a look!
Thanks for the recommendations, don't even think I have even heard of either of them.
Thanks for the recommendations, Columbo got some other votes too, which is kind of surprising, but it speaks to the staying power of the show.
Thanks for the recommendations, Cheers was on TV around here the same time Married with Children was, should be interesting checking it out these days.
Thank you for all the recommendations, TZ got other mentions as well, so I will definitely give it a shot. I recall seeing some of it on TV way back when.
Thank you for the recommendation, SG-1 got other mentions so it sounds worth giving it a shot.
Watched it back in the day, decent show, thank you for contributing to the thread!
Thank you for the recommendation, I will give it a shot just to see some aussie stuff.
Thank you for all the recommendations. Colombo got a surprising amount of mentions, I recall watching some of it, so I will give it an episode or two of a try.
If you good people here report that despite some minor flaws it is an excellent movie, then b), otherwise I will not waste my time on it at all.
