Given the similarity, why not do the Kamen Rider pose instead?

It withstood a tsunami, for crying out loud!

Believe it or not, when I was in middle school, I read a book about this very thing happening--and it was written as early as the 1970s.

I can't remember the title, but it was about a boy who couldn't make the school boys' basketball team, so he tries out for the girls' team--and somehow makes it on.

The slippery slope plays out over the course of the book, with more and more other schools allowing boys onto their girls' basketball teams, with at one point an opposing team having FIVE boys on their girls' team.

It's been so long that I don't remember how it ended, and I bet the book has been out of print for many years. But in hindsight, did it hit the nail on the head or what?

I got lucky. That's all.

I have not had good experiences with archiving, but this one time it pulled through.

There wouldn't be much time to look this particular thing up oneself anyway, given how randomly Dom is on duty.

a fucking screenshot

  1. It was faster. I knew this could be taken down quickly, so I highlighted the relevant line, hit Print Screen, went to Paint and cropped it to this.

  2. The first time I archived something for this win, it took over four hours to do for some reason. I didn't have that kind of time. Fortunately that wasn't the case here.

I know this should be obvious, but just to be sure...

Which? Top right?

If it wasn't real, it would be removed.

Fuck 'em.

Post the screenshot.

Make 'em look it up themselves.

It's no coincidence that the instant they closed that loophole, Uwe Boll stopped making awful video game movies.

Oh dear God...I had never heard of this Vtuber or the agency Re:Act, but that is a tragedy no matter how you look at it.

And those accusations she made before offing herself...man, if it's revealed that Motoaki "YAGOO" Tanigo is just as bad a person himself...well, I'll move on, but I have trust issues as it is, man!

In one of Korone's first collab streams, she talked about how nervous she was to be doing this. I can't find it anymore, but I remember the date was before the videos where I first found her.

I got introduced to the Vtuber concept in general via subtitled clips of Inugami Korone in 2020.

Good lord, she's so adorable. As an actor myself, that is NOT easy to fake--and if it's not genuine, she could seriously pursue acting.

And yes, I know she had that cameo in a Yo-Kai Watch episode.

That one Enterprise two-parter to finally explain away the Klingon Forehead Problem was weird enough, and at least addressed a decades-old plot hole caused by advances in makeup techniques and budget.

This?

This is dumb.

I have a lot of respect for John Stossel.

Except when he talks about pro wrestling. 40 years after the slap, and he still doesn't get it.

Plato would sometimes respond in debates by standing up and flexing.

Results speak for themselves.

Exactly. You don't get it.

With your method, things have only gotten worse.

Make them look.

See?

You looked it up yourself

And you believed it

Was that so hard?

Now stop preaching to the choir and make our enemies look it up.

The results speak for themselves.

What have we won by just shoving it in their faces?

They have to look for themselves.
