A better comparison would be between horses and zebras I think. They at least both equines, but zebras are far more aggressive and can not be used as horses.

Yeah but then they would get called racists! That's basically worse than getting your whole city burned to the ground.

Seattle, Portland, and Washington, DC are more important nationally so it makes sense that they would be focusing on them first. I could see them being used as examples to make everybody else fall in line when it comes to actually upholding the law.

For Morrowind you might want to look up what each stat does, if you invest your points badly you will have an annoying time with combat.

For Oblivion the level scaling is pretty weird. If you invest your points badly in that you can end up with enemies being way tougher than they should be. I would suggest turning down the difficulty in the options if there's some stuff you really can't get past.

Also check out Kingdom Come Deliverance if you haven't!

It's part of the operant conditioning of the modern era. The media and education systems have become very good at priming people with associations, especially negative ones.

Of course the people doing actually sending out the education don't believe it, but many people who lack life experience will. They just see lots of examples of "horrible bigots" and never see the other side of the fence.

As far as I can see it, religion at its core is more about a shared history than it is about belief in a higher power. A religion can only exist if a group of people share a history together, then their core beliefs are formed into a doctrine, only after that can you think about a higher power. In history this has usually taken the form of smaller cults in cities or villages, which if they grow in size enough become a religion or part of a region's religious beliefs.

A parent bringing their child into their religion is bringing them into their own shared history. Saying "this is your part in the world and how you should best try to align yourself with nature" and some such codes of conduct. This is especially important if the people of their city or country around them share the same religion, this helps them fit into their society.

A person promoting religion to others they do not know through entertainment or education can cause damage if they're trying to convert people. What you are doing then is trying to encompass your shared history over theirs. In a homogeneous society where everybody has the same shared history this isn't much of a problem. Between different groups of people though, this is a culture war.

Of course if you're merely trying to celebrate your own history and have others partake in it then I would say it's positive. For example the game Sekiro has many Shinto and Buddhist elements in it, which feels natural and not like it wants you to believe in what its creators believe.

Yep probably. I think they pursued her because they thought there would be some dirt about Trump, but everybody they question has been saying he's not implicated at all.

Anybody can believe in the truth, having somebody believe a lie is a show of faith and power.

Orwell was very on point with the language he invented for 1984. Doublethink, believing two contradictory things at the same time. Crimestop, having your brain shut down thoughts before this doublethink is fully examined. Thoughtcrime, being able to think freely and do things like doubt your own doublethink and the regime.

These people know exactly what they're doing and the people under them are useful idiots. When you point out the connections to Orwell, first they will deny them saying "We're talking about something totally different!" and then later they will embrace them saying "IngSoc is more moral than capitalism at least!"

Yeah, Bernie was being supported simultaneously by more moderate people who wanted change but were too ignorant to understand what they need and extreme radicals who want to completely destroy America and rebuild it into something new.

The Obama/Biden/Clinton side want to buddy up with big business and run the global international machine. They see the left wing as a good avenue to push things like more "diversity and inclusion" to change people's standards and make the public more suitable to an international elite group of gangsters.

He probably thought he could get away with it. Nobody else was stopping them, especially not the police.

BioWare in general is dead for me by the end of Mass Effect 2 basically. ME3 wasn't horrible (aside from the ending) but I'm pretty sure the shift towards progressivism happened partway through ME2's development.

It's an utter shame because Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age Origins are quite nice games.

"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle." - Edmund Burke

It's good that at least some people in positions of power are trying to stand up against this. Of course I'm sure they will try their hardest to make an example of him, and we know that they will only double down on their mistakes. Since you cannot change their minds, you must stand your ground.

One big reason is because he gave all the news outlets money in exchange for good press towards him. Basically anybody watching TV is going to hear nothing about the bad and only the neutral or good. They might have inadvertently heard some of the scandals, but no details.

I hope Alberta and Quebec are able to separate at this rate. Because if this continues then all of Canada is heading down the progressive drain. There is a reason on 4chan that "leafs" are a laughing stock.

Canadians don't have the infrastructure like America to organize properly. It's all directed towards either Toronto or Vancouver. That's a reason big companies like telecoms are so horrible in Canada, if you live outside of those areas then you have very little potential to change things.

And it will never be enough. They could create an entire rail line just for LGBT and they would still find reasons to want more.

When a child is whining to get candy, if you give it to them then you just encourage them to whine more.

If only more American cities had mayors, governors, and police chiefs, that actually wanted to help their citizens instead of virtue signal or willingly make things worse for the sake of progressivism.

Until then, more events like this are bound to happen and will likely increase in frequency and severity.

If you want to actually improve things then you must be willing to admit when you are not perfect. If you want to play the victim hierarchy game, then all you need to do is shift the blame away from you and demand pity points.

The admitted patient zero was something like 16 miles from the biohazard site in Wuhan where they were researching very similar SARS viruses. I don't think that's a coincidence at all.

Of course the virus getting out was likely an accident, but as soon as China knew it was a problem they bought up PPE from abroad in massive numbers and tried to send everybody else misinformation. If it wasn't for Taiwan people would have been caught even more off guard.

I imagine they'll do some stuff once they get more infrastructure made like the front page of dot win. Once they do that adding other communities would be simpler I assume.

Pronouns in bio is the easiest way to see how much somebody has been indoctrinated into progressivism. The fact that they consider it normal to tell people how others should refer to them when they're not even there is a sign they want to police everything you do.

Enemies of progressivism, enemies of the Cathedral.

It's pretty telling that Pelosi thinks those are synonymous with the state at this point.

I say "unknown allegations" because all I can see is that he made things uncomfortable for people (probably women who spoke up about it) and it's likely nothing big enough to go through any court system so they tried to oust him from the company instead.

Yeah I have noticed that other things like TDS which has the exact opposite definition of how it's actually used. It's pretty clear that the site is compromised, judging from what they have been choosing to feature as the word of the day.
