Still fully exonerating, turns out that before the chase Rosenbaum confronted Rittenhouse for no readily apparent reason while the latter was just walking on a sidewalk and wouldn't back off, even after Rittenhouse tried to sidestep out of the way.
I agree with the general concept that Rosenbaum is the idiot who sowed the seeds of this mess but I don't like the wording that says Huber and Grosskreutz getting shot can be laid at his feet. They still wouldn't have been shot if they hadn't attacked someone based on hearsay and mob hysteria, so I think they get to take responsibility for the consequences of their own risky choices themselves.
IMO the biggest take away from this is to not get separated from your group.

Grabbing someone's gun during a tense moment is not something reasonable to do and is normal to be perceived as an attack.
He probably thought he could get away with it. Nobody else was stopping them, especially not the police.
