His sister teaches at the University of Hawaii. She was actually pretty nice.
The biggest complaint I've seen ong lefty friends is that they didn't show a full clip of her, which they showed earlier. Since I didn't watch the debate, nor do I want to argue, I don't know what clip.
Bit of a Khan job really.
I don't think anyone will build mobile towers to breach the fence.
I doubt it's going to be a siege in the way we think or want. Most war today is fought in hearts and minds. If the left loses that, then the people still loyal will trap themselves in areas with people they agree with and kick out anyone they disagree with. DC is totally an example, and if they do not follow the will of the people or attempt to order around people who won't listen to them, then they will starve themselves. Trade will close down, and connections will falter. DC will go from Detroit 1969 to Detroit 1989 in 2 years.
The big battles will be the attempts to take over other neighborhoods. That will be small skirmishes at best and feel weird. Imagine constant attempts to create CHAS, and failing due to poverty and warring tribes inside. the best methods will be containment. When gas and food is a tenth of the price outside, there will be choices of what type of destruction to accept, and some may choose their own. The Japanese Last Man proclamation comes to mind. We then enter the streets and areas where there are vacuums
I think we will have two presidents. One will be voted in and the other will not. There will be a type of siege and it will fail because all that power was leaking away anyway.
Either way, this nation will have to face itself in ways it never wanted to.
The Admiral at the time said the war wouldn't be over till China is taken over, but he was released from duty.
A military vs the undead movie would be awesome.
You should see Omega Man. That was some insane weirdness.
I prefer the Wil Smith version.
My wife loves watching Walking Dead, but there's a point where I don't want to imagine humanity that way. In the same way, I don't want to imagine the Purge, even though I saw a lot of it during the George Floyd riots.
During a history class, there was a discussion about Soviet war strategies and zombies. There would be 10 men in a building, and each one could take down a thousand enemies, so the soviets sent 11,000. Human Waves in the Korean war. They had to create machine guns that could continue firing for long periods of time because they just kept coming, and using their own comrades as walls to run up.
Zombies themselves are just the next orc. I don't really fear them. I fear the Morgoth that sends them, or the Saladeen that inspires them.
It's really interesting, the book I Am Legend where most of the zombie tropes are from was ina short story collection. It's the big one, but not the scariest. Also, it was about vampires.
They moved fast and slow, but a lot of it was mental not reality. They thought they were evil things from legends, so they acted like them.
So, I like the mentality of how it happens, whether they move fast or slow doesn't seem to matter as much.
It sounds like they're saying egg in French.
It's not sarcasm, it's sarcastic voice. I discovered this when moving to Seattle. People would use the voice and think it's funny. Meanwhile, Idaho has no meaning, and was made up just to get things cleared for statehood.
Yeah, always remember the Huskies have strong opinions on everything.
They think he's Super. They're Bewitched by him. They're ready to do it for the emperor. Apparently now they want to connect and make a larger cat.
Welp, my wife suddenly likes Voltron
He's a bit Husky after speaking it as well.
The ending for the first Gran Saizer. I can't even think about it while driving because of how much it gets in my head.
I liked some of the names you had a while back. Your opinions not so much, but the names are cool.
It looks like women like gay men.
I look forward to her showing off her DS and talking about how much she enjoys playing it.
Woot
I meant the poem. It met the theme.
Make sure she reads The Raven next.
The Harry Potter areas at Universal have tons of rules. The lawyers for Warner Bros show up as guests to see if the workers say the full name and do specific things as required by contract.
I am proudly a know it all, but I've also learned to ask the question "am I helping?"
I've observed people who thought they were helping and doing the opposite enough to ask that question every time.
