Regardless of how the election turns out, the entire campaign has shown and uplifted people enough to be openly Right-wing and not as easily shamed into silence about it. With a significant number being willing to break rank to do so.
So even if they "win" (legit or otherwise) they have still lost a significant amount of ground they once considered fully conquered.
Part of it is hybristophilia. They legitimately are super turned on by serial killers and criminals of all kinds, its pure porn to them. Talk to those girls and you'll find they have "favorites" that they are clearly infatuated with (one of the biggest podcasts for it is literally "My Favorite Murder"), and all the "I feel for the victims" is steeped in not looking bad and maintaining an image of progressivism (not shitting on hookers).
That's why its always serial killers are cults at the top, and not stuff like Bomb Collar or DC Sniper, because its a place where big strong men are taking what they want, manipulating people to their bidding, and generally being the Alphaest of Alpha males without a care about anyone else. If you look at which of those categories are the most "popular" after the pure media reasoning (biggest numbers, wildest story) its often the super attractive ones.
And all of that is because its literally "safe horny" for women. Its all the most fucked up fantasies they have sexually, being played out with plausible deniability (which is why they don't just watch fucking porn, people will judge them for it) and no actual danger to their wellbeing.
You wouldn’t see a dude taking over romance stories and making them more male focused so why do you think it works in guy brands?
There was a tweet some years ago I really like about this scenario involving a dude going like:
I've always loved Lifetime movies, I grew up watching them and they are so special to me. That's why I made one about this big titty girl shooting dinosaurs with lasers until they explode.
Which distills the entire "women writers" thing down to its basics.
As far back as the 1970s you see some female giants in science fiction and fantasy
For all the asterisks you need to put on the claim, Mary Shelley was one of the pioneers of Science fiction and was so big she eclipsed her own hugely famous husband in the public conscious for most of the 1900s until now.
And Ursula Le Guin, feminist loser she is who hasn't written shit of value in decades, set a lot of the ideas for the fantasy genre as it adapted to being not carbon copies of Tolkein after the 60s.
Shit To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the most American novels out there and literally anyone over the age of 15 probably knows the story. Woman writer in the 50s.
Writing has always been one of the most "women friendly" arenas out there, they just weren't churning out the vast amount of words that men as a whole were. Meaning they just weren't found as often due to sheer numerical disadvantage.
You can't, because women make up the vast vast majority of book readers and consumers these days. The entire publishing industry is carried on the back of smut and true crime, both domains of women for women.
Like, ignoring all the ideological angles (which is clearly there), the money flows because of women and that means they will always be the primary focus. And in turn, they know the kind of vile, degenerate porn women want to read best (and the "totally not porn" as well like those self-help and misery books), which leads to them becoming the prime contributor as well.
I was in a writing class in high school, and even founded the writing club for that school with my actually published author teacher. Said club became almost entirely women, our publications were filled with cliche trite written by women, and all the votes and discussion about what was best were for the exact same shit women always want (emotional language, happy endings, progressive themes).
Books/writing stopped being a place men went to because alternative and more fulfilling forms of fictional entertainment exist now, leading to our numbers being spread thin across all the available options for each man's fancy. Wherein women don't engage in nearly as much and that keeps their fewer industries (like soap operas and daytime talk shows) so dominant and rich.
Biden won his election by literally doing nothing and not campaigning.
He would have absolutely won again if he did nothing and hadn't done that debate. He could have easily basement campaigned again and let the Media Vs Trump be the entire election cycle once again.
Every single thing that has happened since has been because he is incapable of not reacting, whether by idiocy or senility or dementia.
A man murdered by his psychotic wife, who had been abusing him for a while without much help from anyone.
Who Andy Dick took credit for getting her hooked on drugs months before the night she did it and bragged about it to all Hartman's friends. He also directly drove a different actor to suicide in 99, molested Trump's daughter on Jimmy Kimmel's show (and a lot of other people), and liked to scream "nigger" at hecklers when he was on stage. But was still welcome in Hollywood for over a decade after and is basically the entire inspiration for Roger from American Dad as a tribute to how "lovable" he was.
Which is probably one of my earliest pieces of antisemitism, how much I fucking hated Andy Dick who is a walking caricature of every Jewish stereotype.
I don't think he really had a reason to support them, other than "I play Fortnite a lot" and falling for the Epic propaganda about "muh steam monopoly."
It stood out because it was one of his few non-women related personality pieces, until it wasn't.
Its a problem across most corporations these days. That pure positivity angle is the zeitgeist of industry right now, like how "synergy" was in the prior decade.
And like most things, its because the "big push" right now in Psychology is "unconditional positive regard" and it takes the form of that same toxic positivity where any and all criticism is through so many layers of kindness it can barely even be noticed.
But HR ladies are all usually Psych majors falling into the only job field they can, and they bring their jargon from there into real businesses and it becomes these kind of nonsense.
Of all the celebrity opinions that matter the least, the fat black women is the furthest down that pole. And its already a low fucking bar of how little they should matter.
I can truly not think of a single other demographic more detrimental to allow to exist, let alone have an opinion. At least black dudes you can talk about DBZ and sports with to find common ground on something wholesome.
I'd find immense irony in that Dem's actually pushing for legitimately fortified election processes with IDs and checks, if only because they were such sore losers they gaslit themselves into thinking there was fraud they needed to root out.
Its not even a complete pipe dream. Jill Stein straight up started doing that back in 2016 and got a shit ton of Hillary votes thrown out while looking for fraudulent Trump ones before they took her out back and shut her up.
Why the fuck should his girlfriend even know what his twitter is, let alone that he has one? Was his self esteem so low that he had to brag about it by showing off when he was getting mega likes on a post?
She is garbage, that's in no question. But that little keyword alone tells me he is failing in his own way by the fact that he has a twitter that is personally linked to him as a person and he lets his girlfriend know about it.
If you only give keys to people who are positive to your brand, then that is literally buying good reviews with extra steps.
Its one thing to deny someone who breaks NDAs or has other legitimate grievances (like Kotaku showing how to pirate Nintendo games), but to not give them out because they might be negative defeats the entire purpose of reviews and is a sign of a complete failure of both the game and the system.
there was this rich asimar that was a complete degenerate
To be fair to the writing here, he isn't written to be anything but a complete piece of shit and nobody seems to really hold any illusions he is anything but "useful for our purposes due to his power, but otherwise a net negative on all existence." Granted I've not finished the game, so this might not be true for the full duration.
I think its important to have actually "evil" companions as a choice in these types of games, otherwise you end up with something like Dragon Age where everyone has a "Tragic backstory" that you can't judge and its a huge pity party of "pragmatism versus idealism" instead of any real moral diversity.
I won't give any defense to the other one though, that's a terrible character and I hated it from the moment I met it.
unless it's too hard
This is exactly what I'm getting at. It was the exact right hardness to keep them from being able to evolve much further, but not completely extinct them.
You can see the exact scenario play out on the individual level right now with the extreme poverty/homeless people. Those who can just skirt by enough to not die, but can never actually get anywhere near enough to begin improving their lot.
Good addition, I didn't even remember to add the diseases to the list.
But the list goes on and on. Shit sucks in Africa, and when literally everything is killing you at every moment you generally don't evolve big brains when you need hardy bodies that are physically able faster.
It was late in the summer when it happened. So it wasn't immediate at the time, though 5 months does feel quick in the grand scheme.
Because March and parts of April were pretty chill. Everyone was fine with complying and the fear hadn't ramped up yet because we all still kinda believed that "two weeks" line because that made fucking sense. Then the fear mongering ramped up, likely because the Left saw a prime opportunity and they never slowed down.
That's what makes it so bad to me. That literal months after the worst of it had already passed, they were still so terrified and willing to resort to such extremes. They were far and away past anytime where "bodies piling up" could be possibly happening, and were jumping at literal phantoms.
And their reaction to those phantoms had them thinking shooting puppies made them the good guys.
Shot... Again: shot with a gun... over a half dozen puppies to death
This will always be the most disgusting, but best, example of how bad Covid madness got.
To the point where a bunch of guys were so terrified of breaking social distancing rules, they literally walked up and shot puppies to death to keep other people away. Nothing else can properly express how comfortable Covid made people feel with being brazenly evil, while still convincing themselves they were the good guys.
It was literally the modern Crusade, where because they were pre-absolved of sin they could do the most vile acts possible in the name of their God.
Frankly, Trumps problem with this would have been himself.
The problem with Trump in almost every way is that he is very old. Meaning he is set in his ways and is very out of touch with a lot of society's finer details. That's just the problems with old people in general, and you can see a lot of his mistakes come back to being a man from a time long past. Such as trying to run the Government like a business, in an age when billionaire monsters will pay people to fall on swords and make retarded decisions for their ideology.
Its why Vance is such a boon. Regardless of anything, he is someone who has grown up in the Millenial age, he has been versed in the internet age, and probably has dealt with the foot soldiers that were created from these kind of Leftie idiots. He can see a lot of this coming, and is probably one of the sources (besides Baron) that is making him campaign in the way he is.
Every single survey is built in a specific way to get the answer they want to hear. One of the first things you learn about building one is how not to do that, which then means you know all the exact ways you can also do it.
Its why they are nearly always useless drivel meant to outrage bait or manipulate.
Like, its so fucking easy to get data that supports any possible end. Especially if you control for "outliers" which means you can just discard anything that doesn't fit the average or your expectations.
