I mean, obviously that wasn't a personality trait that developed then, but that was the event that made him go from a nobody to a name that everyone followed to directly see the snake move.

At least, I don't remember him being relevant in the slightest until that election run.

Attempting to unionize right on the cusp of the release of your multi-billion dollar project meant to last your company a decade+. The timing isn't accidental on either end.

Adamrises 11 points ago +11 / -0

Its amazing that people don't realize that to the company a Union is a direct attack, and that its very formation is you saying "we are arming ourselves to become big enough to be a threat to you to get our way."

You can fancy it up all you want, and in principle it might even be the morally good-er option against the horrific corporation, but from their end its always something that needs to be stomped out before it becomes a problem they can never be rid of.

And all the terminology and laws these unions try to use are from the days when people were actually being enslaved or worked to literal death by their companies, which is just disrespectful to act like your boss demanding crunch overtime (on a delayed product) or you just doing your fucking job at all is equivalent. Especially with a job you can just leave, unlike the Company Store ones of the past.

They won't leave though, because they are working for probably one of the better paying and provided for in the industry and will have their name on one of the biggest games ever. So they are in a place of extreme privilege compared to most, but still want more.

And Covid showed us just how uncaring and lackluster the entire nursing industry is, who are the primary people touching and treating you in them.

Cruz has been a facechanging snake since Trump destroyed him in 2016, and likely even longer than that. Its why he went from "Zodiac Killer" creepy Ted to "Lion Ted" for a bit, despite never doing anything but talk.

And then admitting earlier this year he only went into politic to promote Israel's interests, which is not something you can just say and then wave off. He was not to be trusted a decade ago, and has never given anyone reason to do so since.

But he is a great test of the shortness of people's memories, because he knows that if he says something "based" every now and then he can erase all the negative people are throwing at him.

If you read into their "proof" for the belief its a lot of stuff that is "its implied" from the text. Even the Ezra one, which is the only real direct one, they say that the way he says it means its obviously been in practice for far longer before it was written.

So it sounds like some oral tradition they had that they added to their religion and then they went back to pull a bunch of proof out of places it wasn't.

Like all things, its very Jewy and nonsensical. I'd say its their religion to do what they want with, but they don't follow it in any form that makes sense either.

Fair, I threw that in colloquially without much thought, but its not quite stone age.

Looking it up, without a deep knowledge of the Hebrew Bible itself, it seems to have its most direct calling out as an issue in the Book of Ezra which is from around 500-450 BC though they claim it also comes from Genesis itself with one of Abraham's wives being the Jewish line and the other not.

Now, adherence to it might be less spotty as much of the reading I did brought up many times in the Bible where its not adhered to and they just waved it off as "the conversion was obviously implied." Which means its not blood lineage sometimes, but it wouldn't be Jews without dancing around their own rules nonsensically.

By their religious texts, its there and I haven't seen any kvetching to change that. Considering how much they worship their women in the culture, I doubt most even have problem with it either.

Most Jews we have issues with are not religious in any form however, and just use the identity however they wish. No one has probably ever questioned them on it, because " actually practicing" Jews are basically a non-entity outside of NYC and a few other metropolises. Even those who appear to are of the level of "Christians" who go to Church on Christmas, wear a cross while getting railed, and use "Jesus meant free food" level thoughts.

So if some 1/1024th loser wanted to claim it, and had enough nose to get away with it, he could Talcum X for probably a long time.

I think if we set our paranoia aside we can all see the benefits or uses in most "Smart" Products.

Nobody should do that though because they are always being used either nefariously or incompetently and will fail you immensely sooner or later despite being multiple times the cost of the standard.

If most of us only consumed media by people that were just close to our political views, we'd be left with a handful of traditional works and the consistently awful "Right wing media" productions.

Kwanzaa failed to catch on so horribly that it is a favorite game to bring it up and "educate" people on, including blacks, to see their reaction and watch the gears turn on them try to maintain the "Progressive" facade.

And by most Jewish law you gain your Jewishness from your mother's side, and your father is entirely irrelevant to the picture.

Its one of the reasons why Jews are the way they are, because they are one of the only practicing matrilineal cultures (with all that brings) that escaped the stone age and they've been that way for a long time.

I see only two people there I would trust to do any form of code work, and both of them I also would never trust to be around a child.

3
Adamrises 3 points ago +3 / -0

Its good to have a name for the specific type of little shit in children, because otherwise all the "standard wisdom" parenting backfires and creates actual monsters, because those fucks are the ones that you spank and they go get a gun at 9 years old.

The problem is far too many people carry that into their adulthood, and it makes them retarded in their own self destruction. You either end up with pure hedonism (Nick Rekieta) or complete social pariahs (Josh Moon) who cannot function in civilization because their power level is uncontainable.

Like most modern disorders, especially in children, however its almost entirely because we let low IQ neanderthals breed (niggers, felons, etc) and then they all have no fathers to raise them. So by the time it becomes a notable disorder instead of just standard child behavior, its already stuck in there.

I've got a personal suspicion that there is a cyclical grooming process of underage or college young people finding Wikipedia, trying to edit something, and then getting roped into the "discussion" process where they are then exposed to the social pressures of those types. Much like how Discord and other forums work for other fandoms. But that's just a suspicion based on how consistent Wiki editors all look.

Of course, but literally no one would have cared if not for the designs evoking Pokemon (but with guns!) because there are dozens of Ark clones over the years and it wasn't even a particularly good one. And even Ark only got where it did because "omg I want to tame a dinosaur!" itself years earlier.

But the deluge of Pokemon comparisons when Palworld came out was absurd. It was the entirety of its marketing, even if that was through word of mouth instead of deliberate, and as such it became the "Pokemon game if it was good!" to compare against Scarlet/Violet's myriad of technical issues and limitations.

Which is why I maintain the only reason Nintendo cares, it because people threw the egg on their face. And now they are stomping it with their full might out of that humiliation. Sure there are business gains from doing so, but that's secondary to their pride.

Daddy issues yes, but its more impudent and defiant than autism would normally have.

Its Oppositional Defiant Disorder applied half way, where any of the "normal" authority figures are opposed entirely while those that would lead them to hell as worshiped. Likely because the good ones are their father, and the Satanic are the bad boy their dad wouldn't let them date or some other.

There is no universe where Wikipedia does something based. Anything they do that appears to be such, is for horrible reasons that result in the same action. Especially when its very much out of character with their political stances that have been consistent prior.

Yeah Coromon is probably the most direct clone, and it works pretty well if that's what you want. Heck the "alternative evolution" idea is one I think more games should copy, same with Shiny being a sliding scale of strength instead of an absurd rarity cosmetic.

But as we learned from the Switch emulation or the AM2R situation, they seem to throw their weight around when its directly harming them instead of aggressively like Disney would. They let the Switch emulators piss on their feet for years until people started spamming them with Tears of the Kingdom videos before its release and it absolutely lost them sales.

I am 100% certain they wouldn't have cared about Palworld if people didn't run that campaign of "Pokemon sucks compared to this!" loud enough that they couldn't ignore it.

Not that that justifies their actions in a lot of these cases, but people really ignore how much they provoke it.

It has its weaknesses, and lines left wide open to abuse, but it is one of the only religions that is trying to make the world better instead of fussing over ceremony, forceful conversion, or obsessing over the afterlife.

Sure you can make it do that, there is plenty support in the doctrine to do so, but most people who do take X line as the only one of importance and discard the ones that go against it. Making it a flawed interpretation.

There are dozens of creature capture games out there that do completely unique capture mechanics that I think are largely better than Pokemon outright.

The Digimon Story games literally just fill a "Scan" bar everytime you encounter a wild Mon, that once you have enough data you can just summon your own version (or wait until 200% for better stats), with the higher tier ones giving progressively smaller % (babies give like 50% per while Champions are down to 15%).

One of my favorites and arguably the best creature capture game on the market, and I will fight people on it, Monster Sanctuary just has egg drops as a chance on conclusion of every battle of any monster you fought. But every battle has a "score" and Star system based on how well you did (time, damage taken, debuffs used) with 5/6 Stars guaranteeing an egg. Even every boss drops their own egg if you can 5 Star them, meaning with skill you can use them immediately after beating.

Both of which just hang out in the world with you full time, because they don't need the complexity of "magical storage devices" to keep their world building intact. Heck even Pokemon stopped doing that forever ago in its own games, and the Pokeballs are just archaic throwbacks to early games where Pokemon weren't hanging around doing things in every town.

Nothing about the lawsuit matters, and once its concluded its likely to barely be enforced by Nintendo themselves unless you bring it to their attention spectacularly (as most of the famous shutdown notices from them did right before).

This is just raw lawfare to destroy Palworld, either by direct lawsuit wins or simply draining their bank with court costs, because Palworld humiliated them in a massive fashion. I'm fairly certain even they aren't sure of the win, which is why they keep doing things that should lose them the case, but they have the money to get away with it.

They associate Missionary work with conquest because they assume anyone converting to Jesus did so under threat. Because that's what happened to them as a child when their dad made them go to church and its totes the same thing.

That's how fucked their view of the world is. When people full of love and kindness go to try and spread that to other people through their words and charity, they view it was just as violent as Sandniggers beheading those who don't worship with them.
