Sherlock Holmesing conclusions from mere minutia is a bit fantastic, though

Conan Doyle even made it a point to state that Holmes willingly kept ignorant of certain things that didn't help him in his endeavors. I believe that was demonstrated through him not knowing the Copernican model of planetary movement and saying he'll just immediately discard it because it doesn't matter if he knows it or not.

The best part about GET requests; no body to hide the trackers

They say that to create a cache of men from which to select a husband once they can't pull the men they desire anymore.

If they can't desire a man, they might as well be able to control him.

A poll made so women grifters could use it to piss men off for a penny's worth of interaction. But if this trains men to stop listening to women then it's all worth it

Sure, but again, there's a place for being a hyperfaggot about it. It's a picture of a picture versus a link to a picture. IMDB wouldn't have this picture. A review wouldn't have this picture.

I had an old post where I described something that I saw on Reddit and Mongoose did the same hyperfaggot act for some reason. All that really did was make me want to chop his face off with a wood axe.

It's not that this paper was published, that it was even conceived and being able to go from soup to nuts.

Our ancestors have their work cut out for them, removing this tumor. And if they're successful it won't matter how brutal they were since the winners write the history books

As opposed to a link to a tweet of the same picture? There's a time and a place for being a hyperfaggot.

Sheetz, that 'z' is very important. It's like the "h" in Pittsburgh

It's their nature to be subjugated and killed but instead we give them executive power. I guess it's good that it's only contained to the entertainment sector but I'm sure posterity will have many questions about the Void Century with regard to the arts

Obi Wan failed, Acolyte failed, did Ahsoka fail? I assume that it did.

But this stuff isn't made to succeed, it's made to exist at all and tick boxes. Posterity needs to win the eventual war so this era of subsidizing rot can be documented accurately.

I was thinking more in the context of older games that are unhooked from the stream of constant updates. Most recently I was hooked to SimCity 4 and it keeps hitting you with more and more challenges as your city and region population increases: traffic management; ensuring a good spread of high wealth and low wealth citizens so your population rates don't mitigate as there are fewer high wealth citizens per building; tax rates (as mentioned in another comment here); whether or not to demolish areas of your city that have become untenable due to how it was initially laid out.

A super basic one: adapt or die. Good game design will know the pattern that it drills into the player and exploit that later on in the game. A good player in kind will see that what they are doing will no longer carry weight and learn the new trick while hopefully synthesizing the old system of operation along with it. You quickly learn not to fear change and humble yourself.

Twitter is all about free speech yet these cunts still write "se x" and "p0rn" to subvert AI trackers. If you self-censor because of some nebulous algorithm then that's still censorship.

In a world where a woman that stubs her toe and wants to take it out on the first man she sees that doesn't give her the tingles can do so, that radicalization seems like a very healthy response.

I sent the message to delete my Steam account yesterday. The fact that they make that a process in itself pisses me off, espeically considering that I don't actually own anything there.

As much as PC gaming can be fun, its main distribution being service-oriented has been a double-edged sword with the edge facing the player getting more honed. I've been searching local game stores for used old gems and will stick to playing those for now/fixing up older systems.

TheDonald being allowed to exist made them pull that pendulum to the left as far as the gears could take it. That pendulum is getting pretty heavy...
