Sounds that way, doesn't it?

So, they've sidelined the hero of the story, and they've taken away the heroine's motivation ... what's left?

Oh, wait, I know what will fill the time in this film!

Thinly-disguised ideological programming!

Just like every other film out of Hollywood in the last ten years.

Planning a terrorist attack or shelling

So Ukranians conducting strategic strikes against the invading Russians is terrorism now?

Why, yes, recall the largest incident of terrorism in history, when America, Canadian and British forces terrorised the innocent Germans of Normandy...

I think it started as just battlefield ID. Western forces used IR reflective panels in the Middle East for the same purposes - to reduce (though sadly not eliminate) the incidence of friendly fire.

It's since become a symbol of the invasion, both inside Russia and out.

It's also not just "Z" - they also used "V" and "O" for different fronts of the invasion.

Only if you're not familiar with MCS - it's not a regular CompSci degree. MCS places a heavy emphasis on the theory rather than the practice - I at least theoretically know how to write a compiler, but that's not something particularly necessary in more regular IT work (despite what Hollywood would have you believe)

I actually went to university for a maths and computer science degree. To date, in just over two decades in industry, I've used anything from that MCS stuff just once.

Given who they keep voting in, is this not what the Portland public wants?

They also potentially allow the person or organisation issuing the money to place limits on what it could be used for.

So, want to while away your free time investing on the stock market? Your employer wouldn't like that...

Huh, it's illuminating to compare the pros and cons:

Pros:

  • Drives innovation and efficiency
  • Distributed ledger technology

Cons:

  • Coercive and controlling for vast populations
  • Every transaction tracked by the government

You've got to be a particular kind of person to see this as a winner...

... and so the migrants literally become migratory, forever being shuttled to cities that are kind and welcoming to migrants - provided no migrants attempt to take them up on it - and those horrible, hostile, Republicans cities that keep saying they don't want more migrants being keep having them sent there by the kind welcoming cities anyway...

Actually, yeah, that's a fair point. I should have been clearer.

What did you think I was referring to when I said "the expensive bit comes later on"?

What happens when the right to parenthood involves someone else’s body?

How about what about when it involves someone else's money?

For men and women, spending the evening in making children is one of the cheaper ways to spend your time, at least in the short term. The expensive bit comes later on.

These to want to make everybody else pay because under their circumstances even the cheap bit is expensive.

Are they trying to focus on getting MAPs pedophiles accepted first?

Well, judging by recent information, it appears that if parents don't let their kids transition, people Vox no doubt describes as "brave" will transition them anyway

By this point a lot of people have devolved completely to tribal political affiliation - it doesn't matter if the Biden administration does something the Trump administration did - they're Team Biden so it was bad when Trump did it and good when Biden did it.

I suspect the only way to resolve this will be to actually prosecute the various crimes of the Biden administration and show the world what he's actually been up to.

I mean, yes, but Obama also left Trump a leaving present in the form of giving the FBI authorisation to prosecute a years-long campaign to attempt to undo the 2016 election, did he not?

About the only positive with TikTok is that it's easier than compiling and sending the CCP daily reports of your activities yourself.

What this ruling means is that your tax dollars go to a payout to Trump, maybe, and then the DOJ tries to find another reason to despatch vanloads of armed men to Mar-a-Lago until somebody on the Trump team is unfortunate enough to present an excuse to get shot.

Just as you don't know that swatting someone will get them killed - but you know it's a possibility - so conducting armed raids.
