I remember preferring the last book to the preceding two as well (though that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I despise Naomi, and she's a major focus in those two books.)
And yeah, they do seem to be avoid the modern progressive pattern of only allowing white male villains (or making them "sympathetic".) I don't think that a single main villain/antagonist is a straight white male until book 5.
RE: The Expanse, I think the authors caught a mild case of TDS, which influenced a lot of their later writing and the TV show. They obviously weren't right leaning before, but the last 4 books have a noticeable increase in leftist setpieces.
I don't know about his politics, but theologically Lewis was pretty liberal.
You can find audio books on the high seas. I found The Expanse, Dune, and Hyperion that way.
Reagan is the most overrated "Right Wing" president of the past century, and possibly history. I hesitate to even call him a decent president because of how disastrous his immigration policy was (primarily the amnesty for illegals.)
There's lots of White "Christian" Zionists. The acronym need not presuppose a racial cabal, merely an ideological one. In fact Hanlon's razor would suggest this, as the acronym specifically references the ideology, not the race.
You can still get a permit, which is required to carry in a couple places (on campus, for example) and can restricted from carry on private property by a different section of the law than carry without a permit.
"Cuck" implies that the men let their women get away with shit like fucking around/"divorce rape". Islam treats women as property, so not really.
He's as Catholic as the pope.
They do, but so far I haven't seen anything from them.
MSNBC claiming that he was under sniper fire?
This sounds like a Bee headline referencing when Hillary claimed the same thing. Source?
I think some of the actors are probably agnostics or apathetic athiests/anti-theists. I don't think that their responses are indicative of a loving (or even judgmental) correction on doctrine, but the type of "beating you over the head with your own faith" that anti-theist leftists love to do.
I'm pretty sure they've done this exact same ad in the past.
I've heard there's a novelization of the games (or some other media that tells Starkiller's story) that makes it clear that what you seen in those games is embellished from the "true story"
pedos [...] [are] the bottom of the slippery slope; there's nothing worse you can do.
I don't want to describe in detail the infinite depravity of the human condition, but there's several memes on 4-chan that (accurately) put child molestation in the middle of the slope (with the top approximately where we are now.)
I misread "commemorate" as "commute" and thought "what an odd title for a satire article." But the idea of commuting a death-sentence after it's been carried out seems just out-there enough that I have to imagine it's going to happen at some point within the next decade or two.
This is probably due to his sexual preferences more than the vax, but it's unlikely we'll ever find out for sure given the current narratives around these things.
Is that Darth Picard? The best captain in all of Battlestar Galactica?
I don't know how much control over post formatting community mods have. u/C is a site admin as I understand it and could probably look into some improvements there however.
To respond to your deleted comment, I'm pretty sure the gun prominently shown in the promo material is supposed to be an early repeating pistol, not a revolver.
If whites aren't making the decisions then this is irrelevant.
I hadn't been exposed to what common core did to math (in person) until recently. Listening to a kid reason out "making x" when adding two digit numbers and then trying to remember what's left is torturous, especially when they get it wrong (like half the time.)
It's not really a criticism of you, just the shit state of (gaming) journalism. I was excited to show a friend a trailer for one of our favorite game series, only to find out after searching for the trailer that it was fan-made and that the article either lied or left out several key pieces of information.
If you hadn't been paying attention to a game we basically know two things about for sure (that it's being made, and who's making it) you might have missed some of the rumors and speculation. I appreciate being reminded it's still a thing, but damn if journalists aren't pieces of shit...
That Bioshock 4 article is kinda shit. The trailer that is the reason it exists is fan-made and it doesn't contain any information we haven't known for several months.
A friend recently bought it for me but I don't yet have the DLC and I'm trying to make sure I really stretch my entertainment dollar, so I'm not sure if it's worth paying $60 for all three DLC right now. With the moddability of the game I'm not sure they provide enough content to justify the ~$20 sale price.
