Trump had an interview with Bret Baier on Fox today. Trump was asked about how his personnel selection for his cabinet and why he constantly insults so many of his own hires. Trump still refuses to admit he hired the wrong people. He has not learned a thing :( (twitter.com)

I really don't see the Clintons being loyal to anyone ever, it's more that if you work for them, they might leave you some scraps, and if you try to work against them, you'll commit suicide by hanging and shotgun at the same time.

I'd argue he did hire a lot of wrong people. Barr, for example, defended the ruby ridge sniper (and still says he did nothing wrong).

He made a lot of shitty choices.

More like he "you're fired" the wrong people. Administration was doing pretty well until Bannon was out.

He may be too aggressive and not diplomatic enough to just turn the reigns over to, but Bannon's not a snake.

Shouldn't it be well-known by this point that the GOP selected many of Trump's hires for him? Does anyone really think Bill Barr was Trump's first choice?

Nah, all of the failures are Trump's and Trump's alone, because he was a 5-d chess master god emperor.

Just ignore the fact that, despite everything, he's still the only decent president we've had since at least Reagan.

Reagan is the most overrated "Right Wing" president of the past century, and possibly history. I hesitate to even call him a decent president because of how disastrous his immigration policy was (primarily the amnesty for illegals.)

He doesn't need them, he was FORCED into picking certain people under threat of more impeachments and investigations.

I can see that point of view too, I just don't understand how another candidate would do any better. I don't know what DeSantis would do if his own party threatened to impeach him. At least Trump refused to cave on a few things despite failing to outmaneuver the deep state.

I don't even know if the problem is cowardice. The majority of conservatives still buy into the normalcy of the system absent a watershed event that gives them moral authority (as they see it) to take extreme measures.

For example, all large corporations have done Pride Month since est 2018, but it took a tranny promoting Bud Light to make people jump ship. Clearly, most mainstream conservatives are still grossed out by fags, but it took a catalyst for people to actually make a decision.
