The TLDR is farming society women married hunter gatherer men and convinced them to farm.

Even in ancient times women wanted men to stop going out with their mates and fighting a monster.

̶m̶a̶r̶r̶i̶e̶d̶ "...were disproportionately impregnated by..." is a more parsimonious interpretation.

Billy Betabushels actually did the farming exactly like he does to this very day.

Farmer Chad knocked her up while her husband Beta Hunter went off to risk his life for her

A balance of both I think. The females would choose the best mates for the situation. More successful males got more pussy.
Otoh? Horney males would bang the prettiest girls. To avoid this (near-constant rape) females would gravitate to the males who could physically protect them as well as provide for the babies.

To do otherwise invited extinction, I think. Animals do the same thing(s) too.

This is also why older females stop getting pregnant. Not just because it would make "damaged" babies who'd die anyhow, but so there's a cadre of women to "service" the young males & keep them off the married women.
Remember, women lived longer than males back then too, widows past their baby-age were probably common. Hence "wise older women" kept their place in society.

That's just silly. Everyone knows that women were the actual hunters. The BBC told you so. So it must be true.

7-month pregnant women, spears in one hand & 100 pounds of meat over their shoulders returning to the cheers and adulations of her tribe's wimpy males. Real History^tm 😆

IMHO Most tribes had a balance of hunting & farming depending on their territory. That's "survival of the fittest" eh? "Fit" means most suitable for the environment (they "fit in") not "biggest & strongest". Being "fit" also means adaptable to changes.
How would a tribe be the best at adapting? By using multiple methods of food gathering. Harvesting natural plants was always part of hunter-gathering, eh? Farming & animal husbandry added greatly to that, but hunting was still important in cold climates. Feeding animals all winter long is a challenge.

While most H-G were also nomadic? Later on they would have "outposts" in the north & south which could be populated (or not) all year long. THAT is the best method of long-term survival until technology improved & farming with permanent settlements became dominant.

That women were involved is a "DUH!" moment. Everyone contributed men, women, children? Everyone played their role in survival. Those that didn't aren't around in the DNA pool any longer.

TL;DR? Feminist dumbasses stating the obvious through their fantasy projections. Again.

The article is basically what you are saying but the title implies females were the shapers alone.

Tbh I'm actually a big believer of the claims that the early neolithic farmwork was heavily women's work. Before the plowshare and farming tools were invented that could leverage strength to produce more efficient results, early farming was an incredibly tedious job of hand weeding and hand picking that was basically just a more advanced form of foraging.

Women are just better built for tedious, low risk, low strength jobs like that. Sitting in a meadow somewhere picking weeds and gossiping with each other seems right up their alley. And childcare is not nearly a fulltime job, of course they would have to do something else to contribute.

Put the women in the fields again I say, they're too self-destructive with too much free time.

"childcare isn't a full time job" uh, sir, have you listened to the modern wonan? Maybe you should instead of making shit up. Being a stay at home mom is the hardest job in the world. Stop being a chud

From a Christian perspective they are right. “And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a wrongdoer.” Making history.

Farmers made more money so women married the farmers which forced the hunters to either farm or never have kids. Many hunters simply died off without offspring, though many fucked women on the side when the girls cheated on their beta farmer husbands. We're seeing similar dysgenics play out in modern times.
