If there isn't a democrat primary (not literally, that is - if there's metaphorically no primary he'd probably have an amazing chance) he could easily give the republicans a chance to get back to back presidents.
He's a complete failure and everything he touches becomes worse, and yet he's still one of the best nominees the democrats can put forward. Are they actually going to win with someone with a horrible track record like him? The only talent he has is to dress well. He's not even a good speaker.
The only reason either the democrats (or republicans) have a chance is the two party system that FPTP pushes. I think just about any other voting system would reduce the strangehold that they have, even if only marginally.
I did hear that there were attempts to get IRV available in some states like Maine, but that barely has gotten off the ground.
I still think there's a possibility that the republicans might win the next election (which would at least keep the pressure against illegal immigrants), but if I had to give JD Vance a piece of good political adivce right now, that would be to wait until 2032 or 2036 for an attempt at a presidential run. I think he's gotten way too tied to Trump's second term to win without washing his hands of him, and I feel Ron Desantis made a similar mistake by trying to compete against him.
But that being said, I think there is a good silver lining that he'll be roundly and rightfully criticised by democrat voters easily enough if he does manage to win.
Newsoms and Pelosis go back decades. They've intermarried. Newsom's father worked for the Getty family and the Newsoms and Gettys are mutual godparents.
Ah, makes sense then. I wasn't too familiar with their families or relationships. I honestly just wanted an excuse to post the video even if everyone here already knew.
Newsom's aunt was previously married to Pelosi's brother-in-law.
Nancy Pelosi is Gavin Newsom's father's sister's ex-husband's bother's wife. No blood relation. And the divorce was in 1977. That said, they're still the same slime.
If you're still arguing left vs right, you shouldn't be allowed to vote
Left vs right is the devil's best trick.
You don't want to be a dirty commie, do you?
You don't want to be a nutsi, do you?
The one thing both sides always agree on is the sibgle biggest threat to America.
That's him cementing his Democrat presidential candidacy for 2028.
So there's not going to be a 2028 Democrat Primary, I take it.

He's empty.
The more empty you are the more pliable you are.
That's why they go to conferences and say a lot of "I don't know." What they're actually saying is "tell me what to say and I'll say it."
So now we know who wrote him the most recent big check.
If he was actually anti-Israel, I'd say that he'd have a shot. But that assumes a fair vote.
He's not anti-Israel though, and forcing him to say these things will split the Dem base worse than the Republicans imo. So he would lose

That was quick.
He's a fucking jew, so duh!

I'm sure she didn't at all groom him into those beliefs like she did everything else.
Nevermind, I was wrong, I could've sworn he was her nephew.

Progressives for you.
Political class. The Bushes and Clinton's go back decades too.

At least coming out of Newsom, I get it, jews vote left.
Why the right appeals to jews, on the other hand, I will never understand beyond "they are stupid, greedy, and/or blackmailed."
Guess what Faux News will never report...
