Reminds me of the time I was talking on the subreddit for Fire Emblem and people were complaining hard about how "sexualized" Charlotte's armor was. Even ignoring that the in universe explanation of "she is a literal gold digger trying to get men" should be enough, I kept pointing out to them that of the class she is (Fighter) she is wearing more armor than is normal.
Literally most of them are just wearing basic clothing. Because its meant to be "high hp, low defense tank" type. So while she exposes more skin, she is also way more actually protected than is the norm.
Obviously I was the retard for being on reddit of course, but as always its a show of their argument isn't their real argument. Its just the lines they learned that they know they can say to get people to do things, because their real argument of "men shouldn't be allowed to look at this" won't fly.
Video game armor have the excuse of being magically enchanted by wizards. Even in modernity, you have women fracturing their bones just trying to run in full kit.
Nothing wrong with fanservice. The amount of women playing these games is miniscule anyway and very often they like these armors too. Especially if they get lot of gifts from simps ingame.
women, if they play games, often buy the sexiest, prettiest and cutest outfits. just look at overwatch, black desert and the amount of girls that play games like genshin, wuthering waves and etc.
I think the female % of Fire Emblem players is higher than you think. Tons of women play gacha games and buy hot female characters as much as the male ones. I know Fire Emblem is a JRPG, but same principle.
yeah - the idea that everything before the industrial revolution was a diseased shithole of petty war and muddy pigs is nothing more than a psyop. a pretty woman, which existed before and still do now, in a modest dress is often more attractive than one in a fantasy bikini.
Second pic: Who let that wife outside unattended? >.>
“Get thee to a nunnery, harlot!”

I like how the "historically accurate" transformation also renders the OG character flatchested & toothless.

Came for a laugh, stayed for a drawing of a chicken and a goat.
