I don't get it, at least I think I don't. Is the point that this will drive more population growth until there are so many people that there will still be a water shortage?
This. And by providing medicine & food for free, their population explodes. These countries are not equipped to handle more people.
They're not capable of moderation or living within their means. Charity is always, one hundred percent of the time counterproductive to such.
