What if people simply lie to ruin an innocent person's life? Like, a common scenario would be, say, if a girl breaks up with a guy, and then he ends up finding a new girlfriend sooner than she finds a new boyfriend, then that's enough motivation in her womanbrain to slander her ex as an abusive rapist.

According to people on X, you have to submit a photo and, apparently, those are manually reviewed or something.

It would be trivial to train an AI to generate fake ID photos.
Sure, but if a person is looking at them it might not pass. AI has that uncanny valley thing going for it still.

Sometimes you get a bad one, but at least 50% are easily passable to any normal person who isn't specifically looking for the more hard to spot tells. Since half are men, it would take about 5 minutes of F5ing to find the right image, and another 5 to edit your own ID. Then drop the resolution for more jpeg.
Just do some down sampling in MS Paint.
Yeah, if you're gonna use Midjourney or DALL-E, then the results will suck. But if you install StableDiffusion and make it yourself locally (or find someone else who can) then the results tend to be far better.
Why would you presuppose that the “ID reviewer” working for a feminist gossip app is operating in good faith? Never mind rejecting AI generated bullshit, the person in this position is very likely to be using AI to generate her own profiles to also slander innocent men.

It starts out with half of them being men, they take over, and then eventually publicly declare men to be women in attempt to silence anyone complaining about it being mostly men.
