I wish people were more humble than to make their name things like "Fact Post News."
How much of this is from bungling the Epstein stuff? I can't imagine how mad it must be making him hearing from usually positive sources that people are not buying it.
How much of this is from bungling the Epstein stuff?
It didn't start there, it started with his Iran strike. His gen Z approval started to slip after that, but the Epstein memo from the DoJ, and the way Trump has handled it since then, well, his approval rating fell off a cliff like the Coyote in the old Warner Brothers cartoons.
Trump surrounded himself with swamp creatures, again, because of who he picked as Chief of Staff. Susy Wiles, who is a deep state pharmacutical industry lobbyist, urged Blonde Bondi as AG.
I was pissed at him over Iran, but I was willing to let it slide since we didn't end up sending troops on the ground.
However, the way Trump just tossed his voter base aside like a used napkin over the Epstein list, something that Trump himself spent months hyping up, is what has pushed me over the edge.
At this point the only thing he could do to bring me back is a revocation of the Hart Cellar act, or some kind of legislation that specifically protects Whites. And I know he doesn't have the balls to do something like that.
Even the diehard anti-interventionists have to admit it was pretty cool to drill a hole in a mountain, and that we appear to have gotten away with it. "I'm gonna break your nose and get away with it" is pretty congruent with Trump's first term foreign policy.
But Epstein is a total aboutface. The people around him have been talking up the list for months. Only the most rabid were demanding a full disclosure, but I think everyone expected a special prosecutor and a few big names brought to trial with incontrovertible evidence. People know the rich and powerful are a parliament of whores, they wanted some vindication seeing a handful of them nailed to crosses.
I'm gonna break your nose (for Israel) and get away with it
The polls on Iran, like all polls, were fake and gay. A handful of astroturfed weapons fetishists creaming themselves over military hardware is a drop in the bucket compared to the bottom falling out on Trump’s gen Z approval ratings.
The Epstein Bungle accelerated the collapse of his approval because much of Trump’s base - almost certainly correctly - perceives that this is yet another instance of him kowtowing to Israel.
Apparently the slip is from the youngest generation disappointed that Trump isn't going hard enough; there's never been a President that's gone this hard since like maybe Andrew Jackson.
I don't buy the Epstein specifically as the decline - people hoped, but nobody actually believed it would get released anyway. But Pam Bondi not charging anybody for any crime is the main reason.
The slip from the youngest generation is the result of Trump bending over for Israel twice. Young right wingers are extremely redpilled on Israel. They view both the attacks on Iran and the Epstein coverup as Trump doing Israel’s bidding.
It's not as much from what happened as how Trump handled it. If he'd just said something like it wasn't feasible, it would have just been this term's "lock her up". He could have even avoided drawing heat entirely by claiming the evidence had been tampered with during the JoePedo administration. Instead, he publicly called a yuge chunk of his supporters "ex-supporters".
That single tweet might literally cost him the entire midterms. I still can’t believe he said that shit. I’m not sure he even did; since when did Trump tweet out whole pages multiple times a day? When did his Twitter account switch from targeted and pithy one-liners to leftist-meme-tier walls of text?
People's intelligence is always underrated in politics. Voters are not that dumb.
Obviously something more powerful that Trump is preventing the Epstein release. Bongino is an egotist and Kash an ideologue and they would never make the "he killed himself, he killed himself" hostage video for Trump at their own expense. People know this.
The Epstein handling is just an outlet for frustrations, not the frustration itself. It's like in National Treasure (2004) "Someone's got to go to prison, Ben".

Trump is a swamp creature, too. He's not some well-meaning, but clueless good guy who just accidentally keeps fucking up all the time.
Don't compare Iran to Epstein.

It's not in the same ballpark, sure, but Iran was still an idiotic gamble that didn't benefit single-citizenship Americans in any way.
Still on-par for Trump. People tend to memory hole how much pro-Israel his generation is. Trump has always been in the "greatest ally" camp.
I don't understand how anyone was shocked about Iran.

His own fault.

They aren't wrong, either.

Saw a meme that the removal of the Twitter character limit has been disastrous for the Trump race.
