Not just the past decade with "deplatforming" orders coming directly from the Biden admin, calling explicitly out to remove specific posts based on their most currently hurt feelings, but the whole reason AM radio continued to exist is because FM stations were basically purged of right-wing content, and a man named Rush Limbaugh decided to create political Talk Radio on the AM stations which were not actively controlled by Leftist loyalist entities. He battled the FCC for decades.
Before him, right-wing content had long been removed from television and FM radio. The John Birch Society was sending their videos by catalog. Before that, Television was built from a centralized distribution and didn't tolerate right-wing political thought. Radio had been centralized before that.
The Left has been centralizing and criminalizing dissent in the media for decades, and because Steven Colbert is nearly as incompetent as Susan Wojcicki, this is somehow the end of democracy.
