People die all the time. Maybe you're just old enough that the people you know of are passing away. When you were younger, you didn't know/care about celebrity obituaries.

It’s all relative to how famous the celebrity was during your prime years, I guess.

The number of celebrities has grown exponentially over time. Pretty soon, we’ll be seeing multiple “famous people” dying every day.
