There are a lot of reports about the poor security of DOGE, and how they are allowing people who shouldn't have access to sensitive data.
What is stopping them from leaking data and claiming that it is DOGE's fault?

I mean, they might try but I think some of the smarter boomers in charge realise WHO is running DOGE..
Young, autistic white men. In just under a week they already have paper trails that the BBC was funded by USAID. Everytime they try to do something to hamper them, the autists look into the ones that try to STOP them figuring they may have tried to stop them because they're hiding something.
I actually expect more trying to get out of dodge, just make sure they can't get prosecuted since the paychecks for the media cover have stopped.
It'd be funny if there wasn't any information to leak that wouldn't reflect back poorly on the deep state or regressives.
It would be nice, but I mean personal info of employees. Stuff like that.
it's not the people who can see the data that are at fault, it's the data's existence.
Useful idiots in a wide range of arenas are being mobilized by the in-the-process-of-being-purged “deep state”. The intelligence community is involved in many ways

That was a great interview and made me want to watch his interviews on Rogan and Tucker.
Never forget that Elon wants to flood us with infinite H1B street shitters. Import the mud, get dragged through it. I don't know why anyone here is invested in defending him.
Worse than what he 'wants' is that he persuaded Trump to go along with it. Still, he's doing fantastic work. If they manage to take him out, it won't be a victory for populism.
I have no idea what populism even means anymore if there's room in it for Pajeetus Maximus.
Are you arguing that Elon Musk is not doing good with his DOGE at the moment? Or that "Pajeet" Kash Patel won't do good at the FBI?
Kash? Probably not.
DOGE did at least get the USAID shit out there, but that's pretty minor. I don't see it succeeding in its supposed goal of improving efficiency, nor do it take its intent at face value. Congress controls the budget, not DOGE.
You're absolutely correct. I like what they're doing so far, though I'm waiting to see what sticks. I do like how they are terminating DEI contracts, getting stuff out there about CIA fronts like USAID - I don't care about government efficiency at all, it's not my taxes.
Some CIA fronts. Letting the cat out of the bag on these particular fronts is a great way to get people to stop looking for other ones. Always looks for the other hand.
It's also likely some of the anti-DIE stuff gets stopped by courts. It depends on the details. There's a ton of shit being done that is then getting cock-blocked by courts (i.e. ending birth rate citizenship) right now.
Yes, but the question is who is 'they'.
The downside of this kind of pace is that at least the top few other major powers will be getting new backdoors into these systems. These kids have no inkling of the kinds of spying abilities major nations have and are not nearly paranoid enough from experience so they're going to walk them right in.
We shouldn't be surprised to find out much later that Russia, China, and Israel snuck in backdoors or other spy devices without DOGE knowledge or help.
They'll be claiming that it was with DOGE's help and knowledge, or at least that it's their fault because of their negligence.
Everything you say is sound but it gets us no closer to who "They" are?!
