There are a lot of reports about the poor security of DOGE, and how they are allowing people who shouldn't have access to sensitive data.
What is stopping them from leaking data and claiming that it is DOGE's fault?

Kash? Probably not.
DOGE did at least get the USAID shit out there, but that's pretty minor. I don't see it succeeding in its supposed goal of improving efficiency, nor do it take its intent at face value. Congress controls the budget, not DOGE.
You're absolutely correct. I like what they're doing so far, though I'm waiting to see what sticks. I do like how they are terminating DEI contracts, getting stuff out there about CIA fronts like USAID - I don't care about government efficiency at all, it's not my taxes.
Some CIA fronts. Letting the cat out of the bag on these particular fronts is a great way to get people to stop looking for other ones. Always looks for the other hand.
It's also likely some of the anti-DIE stuff gets stopped by courts. It depends on the details. There's a ton of shit being done that is then getting cock-blocked by courts (i.e. ending birth rate citizenship) right now.
