Which food packing plant did it crash into?

Is that what they've all been crashing into for the last few years? I remember hearing something about that but never did any digging into it.

Me either, to be honest. But, yeah, a while back we had a bunch of small craft crashing into food factories. It was weird.

And food factories burning down.

The speed at which it descended, and fireball that glowed before it crashed suggests that it had burst into flames on the way down with very little control.

We don't know the angle of descent - could have been obscured by angle and buildings - but, yeah, this footage is wild. Looks like warzone footage.

Considering we don't seem to see the plane itself (correct me if I'm wrong), I don't really see how we can deduce any of that from it though. We don't know speed of descent or moment of impact.

I'll put it like this, it doesn't look like the pilots were alive and attempting to glide onto the ground. From the views I've seen, it looks like a 60 degree angle.

Asmongold Clips is where I saw him watching it, just so happened to be the video I saw.

Even the fish-eye lens of the Ring Camera has it going in a slight "U" pointed to the right, which means from that angle the plane was going nearly straight down.

And, the speed at which was moving at landing would be unsurvivable.

Even on a plan making an emergency landing, it shouldn't glowing that bright unless it's already on fire.

The size of the resulting explosion suggests that most of the fuel was still inside the aircraft.

Alright, yeah, hadn't seen that. Was just going off this footage.

Oof. That definitely seems to be near missile-level behavior...but also on fire or something.

It will be interesting to hear - if we're ever told - what exactly happened here. Very strange.

The zero-hedge post in this thread includes a ring-door cam (also in Asmon's video), with audio. The audio definitely sounds like the engines are on. They could be at full thrust too. But this would still make sense since they just took off. But it makes it seem like if one of the engines was damaged, you'd hear it. So either something in the plane exploded or the engine completely blew up, caused the stabilizer to be destroyed, and forced the plane into a dive.

Yup, I saw all that now. Shit is wild. It's also crazy how fast we're getting all this footage this time.

We don't know the angle of descent

There's some other angles of it floating around right now. It looks like it went in at a 45 degree angle.

oops, we linked the same clip.

It almost looks 60 degrees. Either way, that plane is already on fire and out of control. Either the pilots were already dead, or the fire burned through the flight control mechanisms.

Yeah, this is like 60 degrees or more. They were done.

Yeah, saw the other link.

Wild shit.

Flight track info, radio feed from the airport of departure, and unobstructed video of explosion on this zerohedge article: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/watch-dramatic-footage-show-private-jet-crashing-northeast-philadelphia

Holy shit that was fast. If it were mechanical, I would think it was either on fire just after take off, or they would have at least had some time to declare an emergency.

I think something might have exploded on the aircraft. Possibly in the cargo hold, but I don't know that anything would explode at such a low altitude. They never even got to 10,000 feet.

Alternatively, the engine could have exploded, but it almost looks like (given the brightness of the fire as it's descending) that the whole plane was already on fire.

I'll tell you what, I sure as shit wasn't expecting one of the witnesses to start screaming Allahu Akbar after the explosion. I think I watched too many Syria videos.

It looks like a cruise missile streaking to the ground, wild. Since it appears to be some sort of medical plane, I wonder if they were carrying something very flammable. Could also have been a hydraulics issue, though it’s likely the fire caused the steep dive.

That would be a rudder hardover for a hydraulics issue. If the fire damaged the hydraulics it could cause a dive. However, the crash happened so soon after take-off, it would have had to have been on fire while taxing on the runway. I find it much more likely that an explosion took place to spread the fire.

Tragic update: 6 on the plane; apparently bringing a pediatric patient home.

Mexican owned (?) medical plane.

Could have been bad fuel

permalink save report block reply

I don't think bad fuel would have caused the plane to go into a dive and already burst into flames. If it were bad fuel, the engine might have stalled. But this looks like the engine might have exploded (or something in the aircraft exploded). The dive was probably from a loss of flight control (my guess is from the vertical stabilizer being destroyed from the explosion), and the plane's glow in witness videos suggest that something on the plane was fully engulfed.

Somebody else speculated a flameout leading to an unrecoverable stall. It had just taken off and what we're seeing is the end of the parabola.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Gizortnik 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

My only issue is that if it were a flameout, it wouldn't be on fire as it crashed. I think some kind of an explosion would be the only way to explain the fire on the outside of the aircraft.

That's basically what I'm suspecting.

Uncontained engine failure, either a fan blade or a disc. Tears the cowling off, cowling hits the t-tail cuz the climbout means they're at a high AOA, and suddenly they're nose heavy in a power dive.

Literally nothing they could do no matter how much altitude they had.

That's my expectation as well. The only good news is that they were so low it would have been quick. Fuckin' sad.

The aeroplane was an ambulance aircraft, so the theory I've seen is that they had medical oxygen on board and this started a fire that caused the crash.

The first video on Zerohedge… guy starts screaming Allah Ahkbar after it happens. It didn’t sound celebratory or anything, but for fucks sake we can’t get immigrants out fast enough.

It sure looks like a missile, but the daytime photos of the wreckage site it was obviously an aircraft.
It was loaded with fuel, it took off moments before.
It looks like it's on fire? But maybe it's just light reflecting from the city below? It could be trailing fire, with the aircraft not really visible?

Anyhow, tragic and it could have been even worse.
