The right one looks like an IRL low-budget cosplayer.
Here's something amusing I found. I saw a bunch of character comparisons Between Marvel Avengers and Marvel Rivals on /v/ the other day and tried looking for them again, and the search result gave me this resetera post... and most of those faggots even agreed that the Avengers characters look like cheap cosplayers (some still had to whine about the 'sexualization' of female characters in Rivals, of course). Also, the OP was banned and the post was locked, because it's goddamn resetera.

The one on the left actually looks like a woman with distinct European features.
The one on the right is a flat-chested tranny in a bad wig, so obviously the Western version.
In fiction, ugliness is a choice.
Ideally, a meaningful choice. You can make 4/10 characters, but there should be a point to it other than a mere general rejection of beauty. Art is about beauty.
The one on the right is the original version from the 1980s New Mutants series. The one on the left looks like the EXTREME badass 2000s acid clubbing version.
Game on the right you can just throw Magik in a bikini shortly after starting and just never take her out of it.
Does she still have the face of a potato peeler?

Then you trap her in a pool, ala The Sims, and wait for her to drown?
Considering she is one of the most pleasant characters in the game, both in gameplay and in terms of "not being a total bitch or complete doormat," I would not.
But I'm also not seeing her as whatever 2/10 uggo, offensive to the senses you all apparently do. Perhaps its because Nico is always right next to her and it makes Magik look fine by relativity.
