The big deal here is essentially mail theft. Fanmail intended for him, "c/o Crunchyroll." But he never got anything. And this was apparently going on for five years.
Because we're three generations deep into letting women into the workforce at every level. Women-run organizations (and if your organization has an HR department, you're run by them, no matter what the org chart says) devolve into situations like this.
Crunchyroll is literally only as big as they are by being so fucking evil that they managed to weasel their way into getting contracts with companies in Japan to become the "legitimate" anime site and killing off competition from piracy.
Like, they were a literal bottom bin site, until they launched a Facebook clone on site where you could find and groom underaged weebs to your heart's content with minimal moderation. Which got them huge numbers of users that looked promising overseas and then they quietly pushed that part of the site to the back.
Dear 🏳⚧ Friends & Allies in Texas:
Below, you'll find links to two organizations that have made it their mission to defend Trans/Queer Rights in Texas. In this time of crisis for Trans Texan Youth, they could use our support. Stay in the fight. ❤
Sounds like the usual story of fags cannibalizing each other when they run out of normal people to abuse.
Maybe I'm biased, because I have auditioned there once (I didn't get the role), but...seriously? I think they're just as good as Funimation/Crunchyroll's crew.
The big problem is that their facilities and equipment aren't as good as Crunchyroll's. Their building looks like any random one-story office, which could practically be a storage unit. It barely even shows up on Google Maps.
But they're run by a genuine lifelong anime fan named John Ledford, who I have the utmost respect for. Not some empty suit who only cares about star power and maximizing profit.
Crunchyroll being cunts? Must be a day ending with "today".
Opening someone else's mail is a federal crime. And taking things meant for them and keeping them for you is theft.
That was him? Can't wait to hear whatever crap that dogshit company has gotten themselves into.
Is this guy a lefty? My caring about this hinges on how real these abuses are

Not just that they didn't give it to him. They distributed the gifts that came with the letters among other staff members.
How retarded do you have to be to fuck up something so straight forward, and how do people that retarded end up running anything?
That is literally the big question today- how do so many companies end up being run by fucking children?
They're employing women
Staff is jealous they get nothing. Lawl.

Probably something to do with emasculation en masse thanks to media.
Now now, Timmy didn’t bring a toy to work today.

No clue, but going by the average anime dub actor, I'm leaning yes.
Remember, they kept his fan mail from him for five years, even OPENING it, which is a federal crime.
Who knows what worse things have happened.
Maybe the rumors of Chris Sabat using a casting couch are true after all...
His pinned tweet:

I figured as much
I can only hope this doesn't burn any bridges with Sentai. He's one of the few in their dubs that actually sound talented.

Like Sentai the show or is this a new company? I learned Japanese by watching Sentai.
Sentai Filmworks. Another localization company based in Texas. Pretty much ADV 2.0. They run the HiDive streaming service.
Ok. That's going to make it confusing. I'll continue using tv nihon if it's still around

OR... And this is wild, mind you... He could take them to court over it, instead of court of public opinion.
