There is a movie literally named Zulu. There is also Zulu Dawn. The Civilization games have Shaka as a leader. These are off the top of my head. I'm sure there are others but Zulus aren't really my bag
Zulu and Zulu dawn was made decades ago . Also the point of this post is that the woke keep insisting on more black representation but instead of making more media with blacks in african culture, they insist on shoving blacks in to European and Asian culture .
The record for fastest win on Legends of the Hidden Temple is on "The Mask of Shaka Zulu."
There was a malfunction that made every single door open at once, which isn't supposed to happen until you grab the treasure to make your escape. The kids were still given the prize, though.
Eh, it peaked at 287 online. About 20,000 sales total. Pretty predictable for 2.5D metroidvania with middling graphics and gameplay. They're taking a hit for unappealing characters and ugandan knuckles level of cutscene dialog, but not as big of one as you would hope. If it was made by 3 people, it would be a success.
The worst part is that if you look into various African mythologies, they'd actually make for some pretty interesting games or movies. But no one wants to touch that with a 10-ft pole because showing much of Africa during any point other than the modern era would involve showing Africans living in huts and such, and we can't portray them as hut dwellers now, can we?
Isn't this just a retard comment section arguing past one another?
The first comment is saying if "samurai are Asian" is a trope, then so is "Zulu are black." Second comment the is misreading/strawmanning by acting as if the first comment was saying that "Black Zulu" warriors are as common a story element as Asian samurai.
Hard to know which of them is actually using the right context without the parent they're replying to. The third commenter, however, is correct. Also the reason Zulu are not in more stories is because leftists would cry racism about everything. Look how they reacted to RE5. You set anything in Africa and they start whining immediately.
District 9 was one of the biggest movies of its year and its also one of the most South African movies possible.
Empire of Dust is probably one of the most accurate portrayals of African Culture ever recorded, though not in any good lights.
Its not Zulu, but every movie I know from decades ago with the Zulu is considered offensive now for daring to not portray the Colonial powers as evil enough.
I was born and raised in sub Saharan Africa. Spent 36 years of my life there, living among the various cultures (African AND European descended), and watched everything get worse and worse everyday. It’s why I always loved the lyrics to “Welcome to the jungle”, it suits that area of the world so perfectly.
The fact is the things they did to each other for thousands of years are things they’re STILL doing to each other to this day. They’ll probably still be doing them a thousand years from now. You guys in the west have a big problem with violence and crime etc in black areas, but believe me when I say at the SOURCE in Africa, they’re a thousand times worse. They’re still barbarians for the most part; every bit as savage as when the Dutch east India company sailed up onto their beaches 400 years ago.
I got such a fuckin kick out of the far fetched bullshit that was Wakanda. Fucking lol, as if.
My kiwi friends didn’t get why I kept openly laughing in the movie theatre.
Although... The Rwandan 'Genocide' didn't actually happen. Sure, many people were killed -- probably in keeping with the official figures. And many of the deaths were as brutal as reported. It's just that the narrative of the war isn't what we think it is.
Ron Unz (as always!) has a great write-up on this at "unz.com". Unz is great because he's a massively high-IQ normie, but he follows the information where it takes him.
A movie made over 20 years ago , and then the woke decided they would stop making anymore media about African culture and instead force blacks in to European and Asian culture instead.
I would love to see something like The Gods Must Be Crazy made today. The tantrum thrown by the left would be legendary.

That show had a lot of malfunctions in its course, more than you'd expect considering how little it changed between episodes.
Doesn't Nigeria have a bit of a film industry?
WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?
PRESS THE BOMB, OVER!
Tales of Kenzera: Zau
I believe it peaked at a player count of 2 on steam. But the developer was funded by wokeydoke NGOs the whole way, didn't waste his own money!

Ever civ game has then. Usually with cultural bonuses to low tech warmongering.
Technically “The Woman King” counts, if you don’t mind an anti-historical lionization of a monstrous evil.

Why would there be? It would take someone non African to create it.
You are 100% correct.
