I'm not sure what the opposite of deadnaming is, or what the etiquette around it should be, but apparently Elon's child goes by the name Vivian Jenna Wilson now and according to their Facebook profile had a business contract sponsored by Musk family on April 12th of this year and celebrated their birthday with their family a few days after.
It could all be an elaborate troll account and misinformation or it could be a complex family situation not understood outside of their dynamics.
But Elon certainly seemed sincere during the interview about how he felt about the 'Woke mind virus' killing his son.
The first time I saw my friend after he decided he was a woman, he said something to indicate he thought his old self had died. Thinking about that conversation later, it occurred to me that if my friend had "died" than whoever this new person was wasn't necessarily my friend.
But at the same time he is the same person, and he's not dead. Frankly, his death would be easier to come to terms with. It's confusing enough for me (because the situation is nonsensical) when it's just a close friend. I can't imagine how it would be for a father/son where the son thinks his old self "died" and yet there are still familial obligations on the part of the father.
Either way you play it ("son is dead"/"son is alive") isn't going to be entirely logically consistent, because you are playing a nonsensical game.
Isn't that what a lot scifi horror stories are about? Someone, or something, snatches people up, and uses their bodies as skin suits. They look (mostly) the same, but they're different, and not themselves, and are slowly trying to take over the world.
It's better to play it off as dead because their religion/ideology has the fucking word for it, "deadnaming".
Your old friend isn't there - he is wearing the skinsuit of a woman. If you're a religious-fag, the only thing you can do at this point is to pray for their soul.
First a symbolic suicide for the illusion of escape from one's problems. By the time it becomes clear the those problems aren't going anywhere, and have if anything become unsolvable due to grievous bodily damage and devotion of one's life to a sinister cult, real suicide tends to follow.

it’s crazy how the trans have a near infinite amount of time to create these online troll accounts and attack sites like kiwifarms who question their troonacy.
Maybe straight people would be more devoted to their agenda if they lose their genitals too? (see eunuchs who were at the top of chinese society for a long time)
It's just an attention seeking recursive loop is all.
I'm sure there are a very few people out there who have some sort of condition that makes them think they are the other gender. But when all characteristics are measured up across the entire group who make a point of being known "It's ma'am!" we have to be looking at a mental disorder which currently aligns with those with the proper condition. A sort of Munchhausen by gender proxy.
Those who fit into the Munchausen cast are damaging those with the proper condition but those with the Munchausen cast disorders still need a proper remedy to their situation.
Sadly, due to the nature of attention seeking behaviours and the changing of rules constantly when dealing with them, the resources required to properly assist them outweigh the potential benefits of them being rehabilitated into living a more productive life.
I'm sure there is fault and adjustments to be made across multiple areas but since academia and medicine seemed to have thrown their game in there is nothing but 'Social sciences' and we know that that means jack-shit.
This is the case with virtually all “conditions”. If having a “condition” confers any social proof, any bonus resources, or any excuse for bad behavior, then many bad actors will claim to have that condition.
Fat people claim to have genetic or medical conditions when they are really just lazy. Unemployed people on benefits claim there are no jobs when they just want more free money. Everyone has a “good excuse” for everything now. That’s what happens when you normalize mental illness and elevate unfalsifiable feelings as sacred.
Which is great for them. There's an opportunity and they are using it to their advantage. But I'm not sure why I have to take part in that fantasy in order to get done what needs done.
I'd go so far as to say expecting it is more time consuming and needless that it being preferential.
The only times I would ever need to know someone's gender and sexual orientation is if I was wanting to be intimate with them or treat them in a medical capacity. It really doesn't matter to me outside of those context and if someone thinks it does they are imposing on my creed which is wrong.
But, for the moment at least, this goes all the way up to the board of directors across various companies as a fad which is somehow a good thing to be part of?!?

This whole pronoun shit has made people completely forget (or just refuse to learn after the fact) how proper grammar has worked for centuries.
In addition to the once common usage of expressing unfamiliarity with someone, They/Their has pretty much always been used to refer to someone of unknown sex (the most frequent pop culture references I can think of are mystery novels where the perpetrator is being described without giving clues to who it is).
But there's a big group of uneducated insisting on some form of pronoun purity just to spite the woke, and don't seem to realise they have allowed 'them' to subvert our language even further.
It is a little bit off for someone to insist upon anyone using any term to refer to anyone and expect it to be casually accepted as perfectly normal behaviour.
Those in my close group of friends will use all sorts of insulting words and phrases as terms of endearment when referencing each other. An outsider might think we are being aggressive to each other but that's simply because they aren't in the group. I would onto refer to a friend as a vulgar term to a stranger if I thought that stranger was close enough within the group to understand it and know it meant they are welcome to that language.
Perfectly normal behaviour of group identity which goes back as far as there have been records :)
I tend to often use they and their in a generic way like that too. "I don't know what they think they were doing!" "I saw them walking down that way." "That isn't my car, it's theirs." All of these could be in reference to a single person. I think I just don't take the time or care to process such statements to even think of if the subject is a man or a woman. No one ever said a thing about it until the trannies all started taking possession of pronouns.
It's gotten out of hand with some businesses contact you about not having pronouns in your email signature or filling them out on internal documentation.
I'll happily refer to anyone as they see fit, it's not a problem. But I'm not formalising it as it goes against my personal creed and I only want them to respect that as equally as me respecting that they really enjoy having that as an important aspect to their character.
It's all rather retarded (And I mean that in the slowing of things way).
It did kill his son, and birth a faux daughter for the richest man in the world, who has to cry into his stonks every night when he isn't expanding his serial harem and birthing new elites.

Maybe ancestral memory isn't just a Hyperborea meme.
I suspect it would have taken less effort for him to be an attractive-looking man than a weird-looking "woman"
I can say a lot of things about what he did, but it being an "easy solution" isn't among them.

So you're saying there's a cabal of UGLY people out there doing mischief because they've got too much free time?
Ugly by the way stands for Unemployed Genital-removed Losers Yelling
They're also ugly so it fits.
They have (((help))).
Troons are unemployed or have shitty jobs where they don't do anything at all.
They have all the time in the world to go after us who work hard just to get by.
“His”. The possessive pronoun you’re looking for is “his.”
I've always used their when talking about a stranger. I have no possession over them and so don't intend to be rude with how they feel.
If you want to be a pronoun stickler then that is your business.
Uh-oh, I don't know your pronoun and so you best tell it to me so that I can use it when I'm shoving it up your ass.
See how that works sweetie; shalom alaykum namaste amen.

We know his son's sex though.

Your post sounds like an elaborate trolling comment.
'their'
What are you talking about.
'Their' when it is someone else directed towards in casual conversation.
Are you another one who uses pronouns in their email signature?
Feel free to let me know so that I can keep you assigned to the realm of stranger and refer to you as 'They' with 'Their' pronouns.
lol, it looked like you were already clown world pronouning.
I appreciate that but I'm thinking the void is looking back into some people without their knowing it ;)

Uh oh. I just blasphemed the messiah.
Meh.
