Japanese have a high trust society . Unfortunately just like White people they have been brainwashed to think the rest of the world can be trusted the same way a fellow Japanese can be trusted because of propaganda that "all races are equal and people are the same everywhere"
I wouldn't say they are as brainwashed as White Westerners were, party because of which SIDE they ended WW2 on..
White Westerners were on the winning side so were blinded by that to see the threat of outside influences uprooting their cultures. Germany is a different case altogether because their actions opened the way to MASSIVE self induced repression.
Japan ended the war shattered thanks to their country being wrecked, a new destructive weapon being deployed on them twice let alone the firebombing and the shattering of the illusion their Emperor was divine in one photo with an American military official. They've retained a lot more if their Xenophobia as is self evident that they made a self defence force than a military army afterwards and we already see the grass roots rejection of any mass immigration at a population level. It won't be as easy to subvert Japan as the West.

It isn't even about morally evil, it's about it being stupid; does he not understand that Japanese people also use Twitter? It is like showing an opposing coach your entire playbook and game plan, it isn't going to be as effective if you tell everyone what the plan is.
If they're used to dealing with the USA (and their tweet is in English, so probably a true statement), they're used to white people literally paying them to say "kill white people, white people need to die out!".
They've been trained, on very good training data over a long term with very positive results, that being openly threatening with effective genocide of the native population is not only tolerated, but rewarded.
