That "uncensored in all regions" post is pretty infuriating in hindsight. I will never buy a game from this studio. They have lost any trust I could ever have with them.

Is that a cutscene? Because gore painted on the character model during gameplay could be a dynamic thing that builds up depending on other combat up to that point?

What artistic perspective? It’s way more impressive and realistic to have someone covered head to toe in gore after blasting through a two ton bag of meat.
I prefer the way the main character looks with less blood.
Perhaps stylistic would have been a better word choice. (And by "ok with this" I meant how it looks. It's not ok to remove advertised content from people's games after purchase.)

Honestly the easiest solution is to just make it a toggle so you can have full on Carrie scenes at one end and little to no blood at the other.
Not to mention way hotter.
