Trying to think of any institutions left in America that has any kind of reputation left or isn't under attack by the current administration.

Even the Armish are being targeted by the food agencies!

Everyone outside the mainstream is being targeted by all of the "institutions". But the food side is the worst. Big names adulterate their products with sand (Taco Bell), the primary ingredient of Astroglide (McDonald's), and more soy than tofu has... it's all good.

Guy tries to sell milk that is literally all natural? Send in the SWAT team. Family raises their own meat and sells the excess? Government will solve that. Someone documents that USDA inspection is an absolute joke? Guess they need an audit and a visit from the GMen.

It's one of the reasons we need to buy direct from farmers even more than already done.

They get more money without middlemen and we don't have to worry about all these hormones in our food.

Now what to do with medicine though as access to that is the BIG barrier to break..

Much more money. Used to be, farmer/middleman/retailer split was roughly even. Now it's about 10/45/45.

The US is now waiting for a Taiwan conflict to kick off so it can steal $1 trillion in US bonds from China.

So why would China continue to buy US treasuries? Literally burning their cash would be a better strategic move than allowing their enemy to benefit.

Allowing Winnie the Pooh to be our creditor doesn't benefit us either. I'm more concerned about the effect this will have on less hostile countries' willingness to buy our bonds.

Allowing Winnie the Pooh to be our creditor doesn't benefit us either.

He sends us everything from cars to mcdonalds toys.

We send him IOUs which we now plan to CANCEL.

That’s a massive benefit for us.

He sends us everything...We send him IOUs...That’s a massive benefit for us.

The caveat I'd include is definition of terms is needed. "Us/we" is the government and multinationals, not the people.

We Government/multinationals send China our jobs, to take advantage of their slave state, and in turn gets more affordable but inferior products, which are then sold at massively above cost because of our disproportionately richer economy.

The American people are not benefiting.

Offshoring our manufacturing to them is a benefit to the 1%, not to "us".

Offshoring our manufacturing to China is definitely going to hurt us all in the long run.

Especially if a war breaks out.

But them taking worthless pieces of paper for actual products and commodities was a good trade for us. Biden is now working to undermine that.

Please define who you mean by "us" here. It sure as fuck hasn't benefited me in any way.

If only there was some way for China to not invade Taiwan. Commies don't cause millions of deaths challenge (impossible).

We WANT the government to run out of people to sell its debt to.

Then they won't be able to afford to borrow anymore.

the government can always borrow and pay interest. the collateral they will use to secure their loans will be your labor, working in an open pit mine as a slave for the rest of your life.

Why would China buy any more US treasuries?

Because all chinese investments are scams. If they want to keep their investments, all they gotta do is not invade Taiwan. That's it.

We're sending missiles and shells to Ukraine to literally kill people. Like we're blowing up buildings and tanks and blowing peoples legs off and shit and you're drawing the line at taking money that russia moronically deposited in foreign banks? It's a fucking war.

What kind of commie propaganda brain melt is this?

if they want to keep their investments, all they gotta do is not invade Taiwan. That's it.

Or they can ditch the US treasuries and get commodities and assets that benefit their people. And then they cannot be blackmailed.

Wow then they can wage war of aggression and conquer their neighbors, what a great plan.

nobody is saying it’s great if they conquer their neighbors

The arrangement is "If China invades Taiwan, the US will confiscate their deposits".

You have labelled this arrangement as "blackmail".

You advocate for China to change their finances specifically to avoid this.

It sure seems like you're in favor of China invading Taiwan.

We benefit massively from countries working away for our IOUs that are printed by Washington.

Biden is throwing away this value.

China gets bolder and bolder at the new Axis of evil (China, Iran and Russia) continues to solidify. Taking out these belligerents by any means necessary is the only answer. Iran should be the first to go IMO.

Comment Reported for: Rule 2 - Violent Speech

Eh. No clear statements, and is mostly just war-mongering against a state. Doesn't really violate a rule.
